Hi all,

I am sure this info is in this thread somewhere. I tried looking in the 1st post but still couldn't find it. Please point me in the right direction....

I want to ship a few items to BLT/CR, we are traveling internationally and its much cheaper for me to send things to the hotel rather than ship them to me first...

Can someone give me the address to which pacakges should be shipped?

Also if I ship something say 2 wks before our arrival will they hold it until we check in?

I am so over the moon excited about my trip I can hardly contain myself.....

Now hopefully others who have done this before can give you more information because I think they have said you need to put down your days for your reservation and your name. I say that because we have never shipped anything down in advance, so I can't say 100% what to do.

What I do know is that chances are you will need to pick up your items at the Business Center located inside the Contemporary Convention Center, because that's where items shipped to the Contemporary/Bay Lake Tower will be sent to.

Tinkerbell3747, your ticker says this is your first trip!?? How awesome!! You are going to love the CR...great choice for your first visit. Two of my children are close in age to yours...they loved it! And would you believe they even liked the splash area at the pool for smaller kids Have you thought about doing BBB with DD or the PL with DS? Both are great experiences! And actually, our DD5 did the PL with her brothers and had a ball! I'll have pictures of that experience on my TR...even my father had his face made up like a !!!The 4 pirates had to go to the HDDR dressed up...needless to say we got plenty of stares and comments.

Sorry I should update my siggy. Its our first trip as new DVC owners BLT is our home. This is our 5th trip to the world. We have always stayed value so we made a huge jump and I can't wait to stay on the Monorail...I just love it. Thanks much for the well wishes. Sounds crazy but every trip still feels like the first time now I get to fall in love with the CR/BLT and for the next 30+ yrs I'll be able to fall in love again and again...its magic.

The Magical Express bus picks you up 3 hours before your flight is supposed to leave at Orlando International Airport and I have read you need to be waiting for it at least 15 before it arrives.

Though I've never taken ME, I know that driving to WDW from Cocoa Beach (where Patrick AFB is) which is right next to Port Canaveral, is only about a 1 - 1.5 hour drive.

Nope...certainly not your 1st trip, but happy planning anyway Y'all did make a big jump...congrats on that! I'm sure you won't be sorry. Our friends bought at BLT last year and they love it!!! In fact, they are looking to buy more points!! It's really nice being so close to the MK...we really utilized the walkway....soooooo convenient!

The free WiFi was supposed to be a 30-day trial which would have been over by now, unless they changed their minds. hstrickland was just there so maybe she will let us know

Sorry...don't know that answer. However, there were quite a few people with lap tops open...not sure if they had aircards or if they were using the 'free WiFi'. I did not even think about asking...we took our laptops, but basically to load pictures each day.

Sorry, I don't know the answer either.... I just had to comment on how many trips u have taken over the years and how many u already have scheduled!!! Wow!!! You are very lucky!!!! ...and I am VERY jealous!!!

thanks!! this friday will be trip 50!! ill get to stay at the contemp.!!! dd just graduated from hs this past week and dw and i are going to start going again twice a year. we dont like going in the summer but i asked dd what she wanted for her grad. present and she said i want to stay at the contemp. facing the mk. she is 18 and this will be her 23rd trip. we are very lucky!! i and we have spent alot of time,(and money) over the years at wdw but wouldnt trade any of it for the memor. we have from there.

Pass on our congratulations to you DD - that is so exciting! Your ticker is very exciting, too!

I think it's great that you'll be able to spend even more time at WDW now that DD has graduated and you'll probably be able to go at less crowded times of the year. At least that's what I keep telling myself now and my DD still has 5 years until she graduates. But as you well know, that time flies by, right?

Post a TR for us when you can. Also, if you could post a "vintage" CR photo, that would be really neat

Congrats to you daughter, and how nice of y'all to do that for her. I've often wondered if my children will love WDW when they are teenagers!?? So many people tell us..."your kids are gonna get sick of Disney as much as you go!" Apparently your DD still appreciates it Have y'all ever stayed at the CR? DH is sitting by me reading, too...he cracked up laughing at the "a lot of time AND MONEY!!!" He concurs But so worth every penny, right?!

trying to sell my wife on CR vs value family suite
can anyone tell me which side(s) the standard view in the garden building is?

i see there are are 3 buildings that form the basic shape of a capital I
if i look down on them the pool would be to the left side and the lake at the top

so any info on where standard compared to garden views rooms are in the garden buildings would be helpful and help me decide if it is worth the extra money
