Just finalized everything and booked airfare. Now we just have to wait on April to get here.

Checking in at the Poly for a Sat and Sun stay....then moving to CR (14th floor suite!) from Monday until Monday....10 days and can't wait! We have stayed at CR several times, but never Poly. I thought 2 nights there would give us a good feel for that resort. We like to try different ones every time we travel.

let's see....for starters you can epect to see my g/f and I, we arrive 12/1 I'm guessing you've probaly seen all the tips, pics, etc by now. I'f not, read through the very first page of this thread.

One of the biggest items though is figuring out which channel on the TV plays the music for wishes (i think it's 20). Watching the fireworks from the balcony is great, but it's even better if you turn the sound up on the TV and listen. Last year when i was there in September, they even played the music for Hallowishes. I'm assuming they will do the same for the christmas party wishes.

My little guy, DS5, LOVES the monorail...and says it's his favorite ride at WDW...so he should love this hotel! It's a dream come true for him! LOL

Are you taking Disney Magical Express? CR is the last stop after Poly, GF, and WL, so prepare yourself (and have something for the kiddos to do) for a long ride.

When we went was the first time on DME, and were definitely not ready for that. If you don't have too many carry-ons, you could get off at Poly, the first stop, and then take the monorail to CR. You'll get there before the bus, and it's never too early to get on the monorail!

We are on the ME!!! I will be ready for the long ride! Thanks for the info! ORRRRRR, that's a good idea about getting off at the Poly and get started on the monorail RIGHT AWAY! My DS5's favorite ride at WDW is the monorail! So that's a great idea! Thanks so much!

Just click-on the middle icon to the far right of the post. It has a quotation mark and a plus sign (next to the "Quote" icon). After that, just click "Post Reply" at the bottom of the thread and you're all set to "multi-quote." Go ahead and try it here if you like. We don't mind!

Try again. Type your reply after the word "QUOTE" that appears at the end of the post your are quoting.

We've stayed at many resorts and wanted to try the Contemporary, but the price tag on the Theme Park view has always made me uneasy. I'm still hyperventilating a little from the price tag (even with 40% off), but then again we keep adding more kids, so our vacations aren't going to get any cheaper I am so excited to walk to the MK with my 2 strollers and not have to fold those suckers on the buses! And no more trying to get down Main Street with 2 strollers after Wishes! No sir, I'm watching Wishes from my room
