Ah, hurricane season. So, with two potential hurricanes heading our way here in MS (though the folks in Louisiana are sweating more) I always like to remember that according to The Weather Channel we are, in fact, The Land Mass.

We are discussing locations to go after they pass if my power’s gonna be out for a while. We lost power yesterday afternoon in perfect weather, so I’m not optimistic.

New Orleans is now out of the cone for both, so that’s good. Looks like lots of rain around the La/Tx line for the week.

Yep, problem for NO is it won't take much rain for them to be in trouble.

Yeah, we rely on century old pumps and generators to keep us dry.

one of the generators failed in December and hasn’t been repaired yet.

Not in Biloxi. Perhaps Cameron or Lake Charles Louisiana.

We got extremely lucky this week. Lake Charles is in bad shape though. They had to evacuate the hospital because it’s expected to not have water for weeks.
