[Fairywings]

This is the thread of what happens to Mike and Evelyn during Captain America: The Winter Soldier! Again, the entire thread is spoilers, don't read if you haven's seen it.

When we last left our crew, they were driving off.....

Evelyn: "So tell us Raven. What's going on?"

Raven: She was driving erratically, consciously trying to throw off anyone chasing them. "I was on a morning run when I got a call from Hill. My dad got in a car accident. He was being pursued for some reason. He got hurt, went to your dad's place, Mike. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but my dad got shot a couple times, upon his injuries he had already from the car accident. He's at the SHIELD hospital getting operated on right now, Steve, Natasha and Hill are already there, we're going to meet them." Despite them not having as good a relationship with him recently, she was very scared for her dad. She didn't want to see him die.

 

[Orreed]

Evelyn: Her face got cold. "Oh my gosh that was Fury? I saw the accident on the news, and was worried it was an agent but the director! There were so many explosions, and a wierd man." Well I think. It seemed the news was trying to cover up that."

Raven: "Yeah, that was him," she said grimly.

Mike: "I'm sorry."

Raven: "Thank you. The weird man, I don't have any answers for that." She frowned a little, trying to recall if Hill said anything about a strange man. "Anyway, I wouldn't trust the news. Right now, the only things or people I trust are in this car." Bullets rang out and she cursed and swerved. "I think whatever was after my dad is after me too. Look alive folks."

 

[Orreed]

Raven: "Yeah, that was him," she said grimly.

Mike: "I'm sorry."

Raven: "Thank you. The weird man, I don't have any answers for that." She frowned a little, trying to recall if Hill said anything about a strange man. She held on for dear life and was holding her gun. "Anyway, I wouldn't trust the news. Right now, the only things or people I trust are in this car." Bullets rang out and she cursed and swerved. "I think whatever was after my dad is after me too. Look alive folks."

Evelyn: This was insane. Why and who did they want them so bad. "Wait, the car accident happened yesterday. I just didn't check it. Did your father somehow escape and got hurt later?"

Raven: "Yup." She swerved again. "We're halfway to the Triskelion, we'll be there soon." Please, please, hold on Dad. I'm coming.

Evelyn: She held on tried to hide her nervousness, even through some slipped out. Even Mike seemed worried. Evelyn wondered what happened so big for the amount trying to kill them. She hoped Director Fury would be okay.

Raven: She drove fast and turned wildly until they got to the Triskelion. She parked and jumped out of her car. "Conceal the weapons and whatever you've brought bag wise. Let's go!"

Evelyn: She felt the squeeze and smiled at her handsome boyfriend.

Phew finally they arrived. Evelyn followed Raven's commands

Raven: She led them authoritatively through the Triskelion and into the med bay where Hill, Rogers and Romanoff were watching and her father was behind the glass. He was in horrible shape, and she had to swallow her emotions. Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know, she thought. "I got the call. What's going on?"

Evelyn: She saw her mom. Was she... about to cry. Evelyn had never seen her cry before... ever. Her mom was the strongest person ever. This couldn't be happening... no. She went over and stood by her mom. None of them said anything.

Raven: "Dad...come on Dad, you can make it," she whispered, her hand pressed against the glass as she watched the proceedings. Was she....bloody, her eyes were watering!

Evelyn: Now Raven? Oh god the two strongest people were broken. She always felt like they had a chance, but know the world seemed to be crumbling. Would the bad guys win? Evelyn herself almost cried, but decided to hide it for the others.

Raven: She watched the monitor go flat-line. She watched them charge her father. Charge one. Nothing. Charge two. Nothing. She knew he was dead a second before they decided so. She couldn't stop the tears and they slid down her face, and pretty soon she was just standing there sobbing. He was gone. He was dead. What had the world come to?

She couldn't stop the tears and they slid down her face, and pretty soon she was just standing there sobbing. He was gone. He was dead. What had the world come to?

Evelyn: Gone. The invincible man. The one she always said would lead her, gone. A mother and friend who never cried. Them never crying in public was gone. Most of her hope, gone. She couldn't resist, she cried a little and was speechless.

Mike: Fury. Dead. The first person he met waking up into the world from the ice. Dead. Fury, one of the toughest, strongest men he knew, was dead. It was hard to comprehend. It was a shock to see the normally stoic Mrs. Natasha with tears in her eyes. And Raven, she was pretty much crying her eyes out. The poor girl... it must be hard to lose your father like this. He wanted to be there for Raven, but he didn't think she'd accept any comfort he'd try to give. He reached out for Evelyn.

Raven: He was dead. Her father was dead, and at that moment there was nothing more important. She hadn't said goodbye. She should have, but she had thought he'd make it. She hadn't even said nice things to him the last time they were talking. The last time they spoke to each other, they had fought and both had said mean things in anger. Now he was dead. Did he die knowing she loved him, or had he believed she hated him? She was an orphan now. What was she to do? He had left no protocol, no mission for her, telling her what to do if he died.

Raven: "What am I going to do?" she whispered to herself. "What should I do?" she said a little louder. She stared at her father's body. "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!" She burst into tears again.

Raven: "What am I going to do?" she whispered to herself. "What should I do?" she said a little louder. She stared at her father's body. "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!" She burst into tears again.

Evelyn: Okay she couldn't resist anymore. She went over to Raven and just stood by her. "We'll figure it out. You'll be okay."
