I must admit to slackness. We've been back for 5 months and I haven't finished my report. Now because it is such a loooonnnnngggg time ago these will be in mixed up order, but there are some highlights to share….

Day 5

MIL hired an ECV and did some serious Disneyland shopping. At the same time DH, DD, and I did a few things together starting with Pixie Hollow.

We met Fawn

And then Tinkerbelle and Terrence

DH took DD on Autopia. DD didn't want to try it last visit, but this time around she loved it!

Whilst they were on Autopia I went to Star Tours.

We met back up with MIL and whilst walking around we ran into Mary Poppins and Bert. There was nobody with them, and we just walked up and started talking. Mary enquired to DD if she was the Royal Dog Keeper as she had not long purchased Pluto (as seen in Pic.)

We went into Innoventions and on the way out we saw that the line to Autopia was really short. So DH and DD went ahead and we told them we would meet them at the bottom. It took MIL and I a bit longer to get out as MIL was using the ECV. On the way out we looked over to Autopia and could see DH and DD waiting in line. OK, you could never tell which ones they are going by this photo, but they are there….

We hopped over for a quick visit to Soarin before returning to the hotel for some rest.

For dinner, we wanted to all go to Rainforest Cafe. I rang and was fortunate enough to get a sitting for the 4 of us for 7.10pm. From other reports around the time we truly had lucked out.

Tomorrow - back to Pixie Hollow for some true Disney magic and breakfast at Minnies.

Day 6

We started with Breakfast with Minnie Mouse. Out of all the character breakfasts this one was the best for Character Interaction.

Max was pointing to DD then Minnie comparing their clothes and thought it was a little amusing.

My DH is also Max - so Max and Max

This shot is a bit blurry, but you can see how happy DD is

After breakfast we headed back to Pixie Hollow as MIL has missed out the day before. And for some true Magic Fawn remembered us. She thought DD was quite like a Lady Beetle with her jacket on. After some greetings Fawn took DD by the had and led her around to Tinkerbelle and Terrence. This is a Photopass shot and one of my favourites from the whole trip.

Then DD, Tink, Terrence, and Fawn played Hide and Seek for about 5 minutes. I'm sorry if you were behind us in line on that day. It was though one of those truly magical moments.

We then went to visit Mickey in his house.

Now the rest of the day is fairly sketchy. But it was the last day in the park for MIL and myself. We were flying home the next night. For dinner we drove up to Bubba Gumps. That was fun!

I had a Ceasar Salad for a side - boy it was big!

And a drink that I can't remember the name of

DD had fish and chips.

And then I ran out of battery :-(

The next day MIL and I packed while DD and DH went to Disney for one last time for this trip. We had late evening flight back to Sydney - 14 or so hours.

Yes and no. If it was just myself, DD, and DH I think we could easily do everything we wanted to do within the 6 days. MIL is in her mid 60s and is a lot slower and tires easily. Even with the ECV we didn't do it all, and it was mentally exhausting for her as well - first time out of Australia. So I think the 6 days was more like 3 days if we did everything full on. IYKWIM.
