The ABC's of Trip Planning, Pt 1- K is for Keeping Things Kooky- Drinks V-Z; pg. 197 + New Link

Isn't it just a Starbucks now?

Shut up.

Well.... If it still looks like your picture, then yes. But if it's just Starbucks, I can get that anywhere and I want different.

It probably doesn't. It probably has those nasty cake pop thingies, and stale banana bread. No thanks.

See above.

I said pipe down over there.

Too bad. I'd like to try that place.

I"ve seen photos of the decor, and it looks amazing. There's one little room that I MUST sit in... which I can't find a photo of right now, of course. It's a tinky little one table room with lots of cool stuff in it.

..but had not heard that.
Although I wonder if it's because the food is a little bit more eclectic than what the average MK goer is used to?

I'm sure that's it. All the ethnic food is totally dumbed down through, and while it tastes good, it is NOT a good representation of what can be had in real life. Plus, we're used to eating pho, Korean, Ethiopian, all that yummy stuff.

Hmmmm...... My Dad's not a huge fan. He's more of a meat and potatoes guy.

Well, that's the 2nd first I've had today.

Thanks for that image...

You're quite welcome. If there's a mustache hair on my pizza, I'm gonna be not happy.

Our waitress was kinda cute...

An Italian mermaid?

Never been there... and I really like Margs, so not sure why not.
Probably a "no time" kinda thing.

That makes me very sad.

One of these days I'm going to go to Disney and not rush all the time.

But this gives me hope. Yes, you do. You will not regret it.

Well done.

I didn't know if there was pie there, so my "wellness" had to come to a premature end.

I heard they weren't very good.

No idea where I heard that.

I've never heard of anyone actually trying one; pretty sure there's a good reason for that.

Yes! Saw that for the first time not long ago on a couple of TRs.

Nice! Definitely a neat place- the accents of the staff are fun too!

I'm already in mine (as are you by now, I'm sure)
Up at 5:00 fed the dogs work by 6:30 til 14:30 then rush over to the school to pick up Kay then over to the grocery store to get.... something for supper, hurry up, cook, eat, out the door by 5:30 for dance recital by 6:00 til... probably around 10:00 then straight to work for 10:45 til 7:00am.

Mine was about the same. Up, but much later at 9:30, a few phone calls and stuff, out the door at 11:00 for the drive to PDX, stuffed the hugest burger I've ever seen down my throat (well, about a 1/3 of it), then to the Scrapbooking place to work on my mortarboard, home by 5:30 to cook a super yummy dinner with leftovers (pasta with chicken and green olives) and some Case Study work.

Good. Procrastinating is awesome.... unless someone else wants something.
But then, too bad!

Sadly, our class procrastinated so long we probably aren't going to have any "entertainment" at our Pinning. Oh well.

Rice Krispie treats for breakfast are excellent! I did sample a cinnamon bun at Gaston's tavern this past trip and it was very filling!

I definitely have Gaston's tucked away as a solid possibility. It really just may happen.

Just a warning - avoid the hot dog. But DD18 and I have split an entree when we were there a few years ago. I regret not having the chicken nuggets versus the silly hot dog.

Other than Casey's I've made a commitment to NOT get any hot dogs or even a burger at WDW. There are far too many other really great things to try. Even their Greek Salad looks pretty decent.

Fond memories - the yummy food highlighted by the blood curdling screams of DD18 as *gasp* a living duck dared come near her feet!

WAAAHHHH, run away! Run away!!

That's really funny! Too bad you didn't get that on video!

Love the way your mortarboard turned out! It's really awesome! Ooh...I hadn't head that about FF, do you know when they might be opening back up?

Thanks! I am in love with it!

This was on Allears not too long ago... has some fun info in it.

http://land.allears.net/blogs/dnews/2016/05/flying_fish_announces_new_chef_1.html It says "late summer" which is before mid-October. ;)

LOVE your mortarboard! That is absolutely the best I've ever seen!

Thanks, Tammie!! I really love it too!

What? You don't like Starbucks? Do you really live in the PNW? What brand do you like? Dutch Bros?

No, I really don't. I do like Dutch Bros, but even then only mostly cuz it's convenient on the way to school. My favorite hang out is Broadway Coffee here in Salem. Very tasty coffee.

Sweet memories of your Aunt:littleangel:

I wish that had been a TR I could have finished. It was just too hard with full-time school and re-settling back into the U.S.

We love Cosmic Rays! So far the chicken and ribs do not disappoint. They used to have a chicken ribs combo plate that we could split. Try to sit in the front area. Really fun entertainment feature there.

I think they still have that- at least it's still on the menu. Sonny looks hilarious and I'm excited to finally get to see his show.

Via looks really good! We need to try it sometime. I'm guessing it won't be top of Jim's list. We have a place with a similar menu, fire grilled with similar prices here, and he doesn't care to go again, too gourmet and too much $$ for his liking. :goodvibes

I'll try anything once. But I can see that. Mike doesn't like our similar place because the service is HORRIBLE and slow. Also it's really dark. VN looks bright and cheery; I think we'll like it.

Thanks, Donna!! It was SO fun spending the couple of hours making it. I ordered the castle off of Etsy (I think she forgot my order at first, since she didn't ship for 2 weeks- I called and she apologized and it was shipped the next morning), but I got it in time to pull it off. The airbrushing was fun to learn; I'd never done that before.

Lovely craft project!! Fun story: When I graduated from my masters degree in London, I was totally confused why people were concerned about motor boats...

And even though you did not ask for it, I think it is time for a J-picture:

It is from the "Jingle Cruise" (the Christmas overlay over the Jungle Cruise)

Lovely craft project!! Fun story: When I graduated from my masters degree in London, I was totally confused why people were concerned about motor boats...

Thanks, Magdalene! It was super fun to work on today. I"ve had some ideas floating around for quite a while, but in the end I had to go with the supplies they had in the store I was at.

That's funny about the Motor Boats! I suppose a non-native speaker WOULD have trouble putting context to that, as it's a VERY seldom used word.

And even though you did not ask for it, I think it is time for a J-picture:

DSC06241.jpg

It is from the "Jingle Cruise" (the Christmas overlay over the Jungle Cruise)

I LOVE this!! It's a perfect addition and fits right in with the theming. Disney really scored big on that overlay in general.

Somewhere in there both AK and I grew up and now we're best friends.

That's really funny. I have similar memories from about 2001 and going to AK with my mom and not really "getting" it. There were some animals...some rides...but...just didn't click...but now...it's awesome. Also I never really gave any of the shows a second glance until my last couple of trips and realized they are worth actually seeing...and a great way to get out of the sun lol

The lady let me airbrush it to give the sunset. WOOT!

That is seriously so cool!!!

ETA: Dammit. You were right and I was....less right. It's gross Starbucks now.

I was going to say the same thing as everyone else, but they beat me to it.

And yes. I can eat a Rice Krispy Treat for breakfast if I want to. But I probably won't. See that chocolate eclair up there??

I'll stick with protein. :sad2:

Lunch will have to be a walk up. Why? Because Brook was unable to get an ADR for Skipper's Cantina. And we're pretty sure they just aren't taking them? Regardless, that's ok. The place has been getting mediocre reviews at best, so if we get in, fine.

You know, the reason it is getting mediocre reviews is because people are afraid of the food. I think you and your adventurous crew would really enjoy a meal there. I would like to go, but Fran is reluctant since she heard that there were shrimps with their head on being served.

So what better place to meet up than VIA NAPOLI where the pies are vomited out by 3 mustached men.

That doesn't make me want to eat the pizza. I'll stick with the Arancini.

obviously we'll be hitting The Ditch

Good call!

even if we eat a little later around 9:00 or so.

Ha! This made me laugh! 9AM is late to eat????? This is practically getting Fran out of bed early!

Sanaa- a must-do from last time where I can have a repeat performance of this:

That is so yummy!

We may need a 3rd dish, and I'm sure we can find something yummy! I'm prepared to go over budget here and be completely at peace with that.

The lamb Kefta sliders are really good. I think there are three of them and they were pretty filling. They would make a great addition to the lunch.

Brook was also unable to get ADRs for Yak It and Yeti, so we may just find a kiosk and snack our way through the dinner hour.

We have had luck with a walk up at the sit down restaurant at off times. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers and it worked out great. Another time, the restaurant hadn't opened and we just got a couple egg rolls and a chicken fried rice between the two of us. Perfect snack.

All I remember were egg rolls and monkeys.

Oh, maybe not on the egg rolls.

Somewhere in there both AK and I grew up and now we're best friends.

Well maybe you're willing to give the egg rolls a try again.

Love the Mortarboard! And even funnier was the discussion with Magdalene about the Motor Boat!

Here's a "J" picture for you.

I LOVE how they really created a believable story out of it all in the end. I have the Imagineers Guides to Disney and geeked out a bit (or a lot) over the backstory and all the elements they put into making Anandapur and Harambe so... real.

That is seriously so cool!!!

Thanks, Kathy! I adore it!

I was going to say the same thing as everyone else, but they beat me to it.

Yeah. The truth hurt this time. This is an outrage.

I'll stick with protein. :sad2:

I need protein too. No way would I do ALL sweet! That's why I'd honestly go with say... and egg roll at 9:00 given the choice between a cinnamon roll or an egg roll.

You know, the reason it is getting mediocre reviews is because people are afraid of the food. I think you and your adventurous crew would really enjoy a meal there. I would like to go, but Fran is reluctant since she heard that there were shrimps with their head on being served.

Sad. And I hate to see them compromise! MK really did need something a bit more food that walks on the wild side.

But shrimp with heads on? That's icky.

That doesn't make me want to eat the pizza. I'll stick with the Arancini.

Hmmm... I actually did see the pasta choices and have seriously contemplated going that route. We shall see... I may surprise you all.

Ha! This made me laugh! 9AM is late to eat????? This is practically getting Fran out of bed early!

If I have nothing to do and nowhere to go (rare) I sleep until about then too. Seriously, I am a FIRM believer in the theory that we are hard-wired to be either early birds or night owls. I am definitely the latter.

The lamb Kefta sliders are really good. I think there are three of them and they were pretty filling. They would make a great addition to the lunch.

Now that's a might fine suggestion!

I'm liking the walkup option if it's available. I really enjoyed their:

and I"m pretty sure we'd get this:

And probably this too:

Oh, maybe not on the egg rolls.

We were super hungry, but just as tightwad back then. They were (and still are) a good deal.

Well maybe you're willing to give the egg rolls a try again.

I might. I"m a big girl now. ;)

Love the Mortarboard! And even funnier was the discussion with Magdalene about the Motor Boat!

IT was funny! I love her stories!

Here's a "J" picture for you.

Nice one! "J" photos aren't easy to find!

Mmmm...vomit pie...:rotfl2:

Who's ready to see my very cool, pretty d@mn fantastic, if I do say so myself, mortarboard.

It looks fantastic! Great work!

Really nice job Liesa.

Guess what I had for lunch today? And yes, it was even bigger than my face. So big I had to <gasp!> eat it with a fork and knife.

mmmmmm...... Monster burger.
Actually, there's a couple places in town that do massive burgers (never had either... don't want to. Too big.)
And when I say massive, I know one has 8 patties. The other one's 5 lbs I think?

That is certainly a dilemma. If a bear farts in the forest...

Does it make a smell?

You mean "Touché"?

39 is feeling great. Again.

If you like it, stick with it.

Ah well. When the trips are short, ya gotta cram stuff in.

But this gives me hope. Yes, you do. You will not regret it.

We should try and make that happen sometime down the road.

I posted an update on what I've been up to on my TR.
I originally typed it into a PM for you, then thought "I'm going to have others ask me what I've been doing." And sure enough, when I got the time to check my TR, someone had.

Sadly, our class procrastinated so long we probably aren't going to have any "entertainment" at our Pinning. Oh well.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!

Brook emailed me a bit ago and snagged a ressie for me on Sunday! WAAAHHOOO!

Mmmm...vomit pie...:rotfl2:

A culinary delight!

It looks fantastic! Great work!

Thanks!! Totally taking it on my trip! Yes, I'm a goober.

You say so yourself?
Well, I totally agree! That's great!

I did and thanks! Airbrushing is a bit harder than I thought it'd be.

I was wondering how you'd done that.
Really nice job Liesa.

She told me she normally reserves it for folks taking a specific class at her shop, but she was so stoked about the project in general, she got it out and let me play. Totally snagged me as a future customer.

mmmmmm...... Monster burger.
Actually, there's a couple places in town that do massive burgers (never had either... don't want to. Too big.)
And when I say massive, I know one has 8 patties. The other one's 5 lbs I think?

5 lbs? That's obscene. 5 lbs of ground beef would feed my family for a week.

Does it make a smell?

We need more research on this. You should take some time off and volunteer.

You mean "Touché"?

That sounds/looks ominously like tushy. (I'm still trying to figure out how to do fancy accented special characters on my QWERTY.

If you like it, stick with it.

Works for me. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS. SWEAR IT'S TRUE AND NO LIE. My nursey squad went out for a couple today after group work and.... oh my gosh... hold onto your hat there, Sir....

Yes, this is on my bucket list.

Yeah, I figured it'd be a Disney'd down version. Still.... I'll give it a shot.

Even if only for the storyline. Such a cool concept.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. They need to bring back the Adventurer's Club. Shame on Disney.

What was the first first?

I actually ate a burger with a fork and knife the other day. It was WAY too huge and messy to try to eat with my hands.

That's always a distinct possibility when I make pizza!

You, Andy, AND Glennbo (@afwdwfan @glennbo123 )

Ah well. When the trips are short, ya gotta cram stuff in.

True dat. Trust me, it's even a temptation and struggle I've encountered myself. But choosing to slow down is never something I've regretted.

That's great self PR.

5 lbs? That's obscene. 5 lbs of ground beef would feed my family for a week.

Sorry. I was wrong.

It's nine pounds.

But it's meant to be eaten by a group.
Here's a pick I snagged off of the internets thingie.

And no... that's not photoshopped.
Then again, I've eaten there.... once.
(Obviously didn't order that monster, above.)
I did order a bacon cheeseburger and....
Let's just say I won't be back.

We need more research on this. You should take some time off and volunteer.

1. I volunteered enough the past three days to last me the year, thanks.
2. What is this "time off" (as I sit here at work typing this) that you speak of?

::yes:: But making yourself stop when there's soooooo much to do! Tough.

It's on my short list of "stuff to do".

:goodvibes

I saw... I actually worry about your health- mental and physical.

Oh, not to worry. I will admit I was totally burned out by Thursday morning, but I'm one of those lucky people who can survive on six hours of sleep. (four or five will do too, provided I can catch up a bit at some point. Today I was in bed by midnight and slept til 9:30)

I had SO much fun making it today. The lady let me airbrush it to give the sunset. WOOT!

Very Cool !!!!!!!

I think its early days were dismal, and it had no point. But I like that it DID develop into a really incredible park with a story that the Imagineers knocked out of the park... so to speak.

Went in 98 the year it opened. Record heat wave. It was so hot........ that you HAD to wear your shoes to edge of the pool and then step in because if you stepped on the deck barefoot- your foot would have second degrees burns.

I remember a huge tent with Dino stuff, probably where Chester and Hester's is now. Waiting forever for It's tough to be a bug and Disney handing out FREE water in line because people were passing out. Must have seen 6 or 7 taken away in stretchers.

Works for me. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS. SWEAR IT'S TRUE AND NO LIE. My nursey squad went out for a couple today after group work and.... oh my gosh... hold onto your hat there, Sir....

I Have a (Food) Dream- Pt. 5

So, a few changes... mostly because I'm dense. But also because I'm using a spreadsheet I created when I was in Kentucky at my Folks' place on Dad's Excel. I got the free trial so I could see it at home, but that expired and now I can't make any changes- and there have been a few. (Yes, I am going to buy it before I graduate so I can get the student discount. I'm smart like that. And the biggest tightwad on earth.) Among other things, the 2 tours I've scheduled were additions I failed to add before Microsoft cut me off. Jerks.

What's significant about that is that I completely forgot that instead of Yak It and Yeti, that I thought we'd go to and where we left off in the last update, was replaced with...

JIKO as part of our Wanyama Tour. That's scheduled for Monday, October 17th.

I've been to Jiko once and I LOVED it. It truly was one of the better meals I had on that last trip. I won't go into the restaurant here, this is mostly a place to just drool over food picks. If I were there today though, instead of having leftover macaroni salad and 3 Lil Smokies for dinner, I'd have:

Braai Broodjie - millet flatbread, apricot chutney, manchego and midnight moon cheese, charred red wine onions, and local heirloom tomatoes $13

and call it good. Or great. Yeah, probably great.

But. That's not how this works when you're on a tour. Instead THIS is how it works... (taken from a blog/review)

"As part of the Wanyama Safari, a family style dinner was included with our meal. There was 6 of us so we were half of the entire safari. Everything was exceptional. One of the appetizers that was brought out was described by the food runner as having an "intense" flavor. Her comment couldnt be more right on. It was not spicy it had a lot of spices. That is the theme throughout most of their dishes. The whole time we were at Disney, every time we came across a dish that was different, we referred to it as "Intense!"

Highlights:
1. I think he was the chef?? Anyway he does that thing they do on Iron Chef where he comes out and explains whats about to come out for appetizer, entree and dessert. I thought that was really neat. They even paired it with a wine for those over 21 that wanted some alcohol. I have eaten at a lot of different restaurants from high end to low end. I really had no clue what he was talking about half the time but it was fun nonetheless.

2. You need to go to this thing hungry. They brought out a lot of food. It was so you can taste everything. They brought out 1 of each thing per person. Im talking a steak, a chicken, a fish, a pig for the entree. Im talking 1 serving of each appetizer the brought out which was I think 3 or 4. They brought out a serving of each dessert (the only time I was happy that the portions were smaller but not particularly small).

3. I was sad when I asked the bus staff what they were going to do with all the leftover food and he said "its going to go into the garbage." I had him bring out containers to take it back to our room since we had a villa and it had a full kitchen. To be honest, we were on a deluxe dining plan and we couldnt finish all those leftovers. We had to try and give it another try but it just didn't happen.

4. The atmosphere here was great and actually a nice place for a romantic dinner or a large party. They had the space for it and the restaurant was setup nicely with ample room between tables.

Overall awesome and they did execute everything flawlessly. The Wanyama safari is worth it then if you top it off with the dinner included, the value is amazing. Id say our meal had it been a standalone dinner would have cost about $500 for the 6 of us since. Remember, appetizers, entrees, and desserts PLUS the wine pairings. We would do it again but you have to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo or Kidani) to do the safari. Although we love Kidani, we would rather try a different place next time."

Planning on going hungry. I'm no fool.

OK, onward to the last few meals of the WDW portion of the trip.

Breakfast will be our usual lighter fare at Mara, pastries, cold cereal, or such. Not gonna lie, We'll probably be still bloated from the night before.

bloated_beauties_by_randomguy1001-d4bm05o.jpg

I heard that there is a Pantsless Prince I need to lay eyes on and that he hangs out at Beast's castle. I also heard that he's quite particular at who gets to see him- he kinda makes his appearance for only lucky guests who call for an appointment WAY ahead of time. And even then, maybe not.

For lunch, I WILL be his guest, and his dishes will serve me:

French Onion Soup - Also available without cheese and crouton. $5.69

be-our-guest.jpg

The kids can get whatever they're in the mood for. Then that way, whatever they don't eat, I will, and if they finish it all, I can get some grey stuff. Just to say I've done it.

Lastly, for dinner, we finally get a date night at Artist's Point. The kids will have to figure something out to do (I know it'll be terribly difficult at Disney World) while we steal away to the Wilderness Lodge for a romantic dinner for 2. The menu here is SO intriguing, and although we live here in the PNW and eat a lot of stuff on the menu pretty often, we don't have it prepared with some of the fancier ingredients they use like:

Half Roast Chicken - Geechie boy grits, collards, favas, okra, sweety drop peppers, jus $33

Ummm.... GEECHIE BOY GRITS??!!

First of all, WTH is a Geechie?

Secondly, are there GIRL grits too? These are the things that keep me awake at night.

Or how about:

Smoked Portobello Bisque
small_gold_star.png
- foraged oyster mushrooms, nasturtium oil, fines herbes $10

WHO forages these mushrooms? Is this a highly specialized Cast Member job?

Wanted: Forager needed to scour remote, wooded landscapes for the elusive oyster mushroom. Foraging experience required. Benfits package offered; apply online. Will check references.

And I confess, we don't regularly press our own nasturtium oil. (We've eaten nasturtium many times, but...) Who knew you could use them for oil!

So, yeah, we'll go to AP and enjoy some rather exotic and hoity-toity food and hope my neighbor can still come through with a favor pulled.

One thing I absolutely DO wanna try is:

Handcrafted Charcuterie - olives, mustards, preserves, lardo toast $18

I mean, seriously... doesn't everyone want to eat LARDO?! (Can you see my rolling on the floor dying from laughing so hard?)

Guess where we're going to eat breakfast the next morning. Go ahead; you've got this!

Did you say Mara? Good! You're really smart. However, chances are rather good that we won't get anything.

Our last Disney lunch seems like it should be spend snacking and drinking around the World. That is a big reason I chose to visit in October.

There are WAY too many yummy looking things to try to narrow it down, and this is definitely one place I don't want to even try. We'll eat as we please and whatever looks good in the moment is what we'll do. I'm rather excited for this! This may be a good day/afternoon to shop around the World... more on that soon.

The evening, as you know, is reserved for DISMeets galore! We have a growing list of peeps and if you're someone who's going to be there on the 19th, PLEASE let me know! We don't bite. In fact, we're a rather nice bunch of folks who really love Disney, like to have a good time, and are probably a lot like you.

We plan to meet and hang out in the Norway Pavilion around 6:00/6:30 (right @Poolrat ?) and get/bring food to your own liking. We might wander? Or just stay put and sip or??? Marv has offered to be a food runner for tips. Bring dollar bills. ( @GoofyFan1515 ) Dinner for us, anyway, will be either more F&W stuff or something from the Taco Bell in Mexico. Who knows... and it wouldn't surprise me, we may take a dip into the The Ditch, because they serve up a rather mighty fine marg.

See?

They just don't get boring, do they?

Pssssst... they have food too...

The very last meal for us will be going out with a bang.

Go ahead and take one more stab at guessing where we'll be eating on our last morning. You can do it....

WRONG!

It was a VERY last minute decision to add Boma for our Farewell to Disney. I mean I had to do SOMETHING to ease the anguish and despair of leaving. For my kids. I'm headed to the Keys because it took that level of comfort care to ease the impending depression, so I'll be ok. Plus, our flight doesn't leave until a bit later (the kids have to be on the DUD at 10:45, but we have until 12:45), so we can just enjoy the resort a little bit more. As for food. There's enough here to make even the most mundane and un-imaginitive palate happy, (you know who you are.) and yet still please the folks who love something a little out-of-the-ordinary.

2 thumbs up for Corned Beef Hash and Chakalaka!

Yes, believe it or not, that DOES look good for breakfast. Smothered over hash or hash browns, or just in a swimming pool filled just for me.

That, my friends, wraps up the series of Food Dreams. They make for delicious anticipation. Hope you are having a wonderful start to June. We're here in Oregon where the Sahara sent over some "August in Chad" weather. Stay cool, like I know you always do, Kids.

Yay!!!! Now we can read all about it!

I hope I can live up to all the enthusiasm.

That was your first time??? Not too shabby!

She was a great tutor..

"A little bit more yellow there; now some orange up there. Great, now add a big of blue here, here and here."

That's great self PR.

Good business! And yes, I'll be recommending her to friends too.

It's nine pounds.

More than twice as big as both my boys.

Let's just say I won't be back.

Uh oh... not tasty?

1. I volunteered enough the past three days to last me the year, thanks.

Now, you can say NO without guilt.

2. What is this "time off" (as I sit here at work typing this) that you speak of?

I don't know. Let me know if you find out.

No way!! Well... of course you did!

It was a dark bar. Obviously, he couldn't see worth a crap.

:sad2: If you don't have it dripping down your hands and wrists and elbows... it's not a good burger.

I was in a professional get-up. No grease, thanks. You know my nickname's Pigpen, right?

::yes:: But making yourself stop when there's soooooo much to do! Tough.

Noooo, it's not like you're NOT doing stuff; it's just DIFFERENT stuff. I mean, just not always rushing to the next ride just for the sake of riding it. But finding those little hidden gems everyone else just cruises on by. The theming and visual puns thrown all over the parks. Admiring the authentic mosaics laid tile by tile in the castle and over at The Land; there's art EVERYWHERE; watching the Flag Lowering Ceremony... stuff like that.

Oh, not to worry. I will admit I was totally burned out by Thursday morning, but I'm one of those lucky people who can survive on six hours of sleep. (four or five will do too, provided I can catch up a bit at some point. Today I was in bed by midnight and slept til 9:30)

I wish. I can if I absolutely have to, but know I"m not optimally functioning. 9 is perfect.

Very Cool !!!!!!!

Thanks! You'll even get to see it!

YIKES!! That's horrible! Disney must have a contingency plan for stuff like that, but not a fun way to spend a vacation.

That is GREAT!!!!!!!!

I about died laughing. I haven't been carded in 15 years.

Jiko, yum. I have wanted to eat here for ages but my family is not made of fine diners and they ran the opposite direction when they saw the prices.
