The ABC's of Trip Planning, Pt 1- K is for Keeping Things Kooky- Drinks V-Z; pg. 197 + New Link

Funny story:

One or 2 days after my parents were married, on their honeymoon, my Dad who was still in his Residency of Med School sat straight up in bed in the middle of the night and blurted out,

"The recipe calls for a row of dead bodies."

My mom was a little freaked out.

Um, yeah. And she didn't run for the hills, apparently?

.8888888% Which is better than an 88% ;)

Congrats! Definitely so much better than 88% ;)

Oh dear. Only .8888888%
Less than one percent!

Okay. Kidding. Way to go!
Hey! What's that bright light? Oh, it's the one at the end of the tunnel.

Oops, when I edited, I forgot to remove the percent sign. .8888 turns into an 89%.

That's a huuuge improvement! Did you have to go to the marker and point out a bunch of mistakes he made?

And am I annoying the living heck out of you?

You know I love it. Spending time with my friends here before I head into a 3 hour lab on IV Pushes. Happy drugs going in the fastest way.

My neighbour had an ivy bush too.
But he removed it when it grew too large and was starting to climb into the vents.

Plus I think @pkondz is going to request you personally when he needs a nurse.

I'd love it.

Wait. Do I have to be sick first?

 That's too funny:rotfl:
At our hospital, a Code Black is actually a Bomb Threat.
FYI It's used when there's an influx of patients greater than the resources to treat them. Average hospital goes in code black 5 times a year, one in Los Angles does it 300 times a year. It's an
intense show. Of course the story line of residents and doctors under those situations pulls you in.
I"m paranoid I'm going to miss my ADR or FP+ day.
I know!! I need to find out when that is. Would be nice if it was on a day I don't work. I don't know if there is anything yet that I have to get practically at midnight. But I'd like to start right way since I won't know what I'm doing:confused3
Magic band, online fast passes & ADR:faint:
Thanks for being here despite my absence for periods of time
We know where you are, learning, studying, testing & working. Just give us a:wave2: when you can.

It's in April. Mine is April 21 for Checking in on 10/18/16.

Thanks!
I thought it would be in April for ADR right? But fast passes won't be till August? 60 days?
Guess I need to sit down to make sure of the actual days they will be.
I just wish park hours came out before April. 10 years ago (caveman days) the only thing we planned ahead was what park what day based on the operating hours. I seem to not be able to think beyond doing that first before
I know where I'll eat or ride.
I haven't heard any problems lately with MDE. I'll be a newbie and worried I'll get on and goof it all up. We'll get to Disney with nothing being what we planned

These are the sacrifices I am willing to make.
Yes. I am wonderful in that way.
And... no. I don't actually drink coffee.

I know... you're gracious....

But no coffee? How DO you survive?? :scared1:

Ummm..... Holy crap!!!
First off... My God, you're stunning.
Second off.... You made that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :faint:

Sooooo impressed.

AWww, thanks! I have a few period gowns I"ve made; here's another sampling. I forgot you didn't know me before Nursing School when I actually had a life, and hobbies, and a family who saw me.

Anyway, that's a sampling of my dancing days. Someday, I'll try my hand at it again. Tons of fun!

I thought you'd find that amusing. :bitelip:

Um, yeah. And she didn't run for the hills, apparently?

Haha, nope she's still around. But she did call her mother....

We have a hydrangea that seems to have a love affair with our attic.

I'd love it.

Wait. Do I have to be sick first?

Trying my hand at IVs tomorrow for the first time! We'll see how THAT goes. Then I'll let you know...

 That's too funny:rotfl:

I think it's a story that gets told pretty often to the grandkids. My dad is full of hilarious stories- many from his days in the OR.

Huh! Who knew! I wonder why ours is a bomb threat; I"ll ask around. Maybe it's actually both, and I just don't know it yet. LOL! I used to watch ER faithfully, and loved it. Haven't had a TV since we left the States and came back.

I just emailed Brook to find out exactly when mine it too. I'm paranoid I'll stay up on the wrong night and have missed it by 24 hours. :scared1::eek::faint: Our Magic Bands are done, so that's good, I guess.

We know where you are, learning, studying, testing & working. Just give us a:wave2: when you can.

Passed that first one, and have my Clinical Write-Up turned in, so have a few hours to play. DH has been out of town since Monday, and is supposed to be home any time, so we'll see how the evening goes....

It's in April. Mine is April 21 for Checking in on 10/18/16.

Now I can figure mine out!

Thanks!

I think that sounds about right! I finally got an app for my phone with a countdown. That's nice to see each day!

And yes! I'd LOVE to have park hours before too long! Time to fine tune these plans of mine!

Those dresses are beautiful! What era were they period? We used to do Civil War reenacting, those dresses don't look quite Civil War era, either that you were much more wealthy in your persona than I was. I was mostly a peasant. That is when I wasn't doing my soldier impression so I could play in the band.

I know... you're gracious....

Yes. Yes I am.

Dang it! I just blew it, didn't I?

But no coffee? How DO you survive?? :scared1:

I walk around in a fog a lot.

Did you make all those!?!?!?

Anyway, that's a sampling of my dancing days. Someday, I'll try my hand at it again. Tons of fun!

Ah! You danced too! Period dances, I presume?

Trying my hand at IVs tomorrow for the first time! We'll see how THAT goes. Then I'll let you know...

Standing by with veins awaiting.

Thanks, Alison!! It was a lot of fun making them. I re-enacted for a few years as well, but looked in vain for a picture of my Civil War Era dress. No where. So sad. :( We were day trippers, so I could go a bit more fancy.

Yes. Yes I am.

Dang it! I just blew it, didn't I?

Nah. You're gracious enough. Pretty generous too. (Well, at least I hope so with points. I've sucked in the last rounds and my standing slipped. )

I walk around in a fog a lot.

Me too. Probably has nothing to do with having or not having coffee though.

Did you make all those!?!?!?

I made my own, and helped my two daughters in the photos as well. We had SO much fun designing and making them!

Ah! You danced too! Period dances, I presume?

Yes, Regency Period dancing/Contra. Our recently passed Alan Rickman portrayed a character in Sense and Sensibility where you'd find some good stuff. Better yet, watch the 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice and enjoy the perfect versions there. But I can waltz as well... if led well.

Standing by with veins awaiting.

WOOT! More vict.....er.... willing speci..... hmmm, wait, awesome people waiting for quality care.
