I have learned "extra". My son goes around saying "Yeet", and I still have no idea what that's supposed to mean.

I just got a full minute long discourse on this term of excitement from my son. Basically, it's an exclamation of surprise or excitement. I had him give me an example and he said, "If someone is about to make a good shot in basketball, someone might shout out... "YEET!". It sounds like a type of Isreali soup to me.

Gorgeous! We did a similar hike through the snow in Flume Gorge in New Hampshire several years ago. Totally worth it to see a frozen waterfall!

It was the first time I've ever seen or done that. It was worth it, but HARD!

Oh we almost never get snow here on the Valley floor where I live. We have to drive about an hour to find it usually. I finally got my BBQ on my deck and will probably fire it up for the first time next weekend.

We did stop for both breakfast and dinner but no one drank. Er I take that back, one guy had one beer. It was flat and mostly on packed snow where skiers and snowmobiles had already gone, but every once in a while you'd hit a pocket and go in up to your mid-shin. That sucked.

Actually I did not know that the bottle was a "Bordeaux" bottle, as I said in my reply to Liesa, I just know that some bottles don't fit into the grid on my wine cabinet, so it must have been designed for Bordeaux bottles and not the others.

(“My God!”) like morbleu and parbleu and akin to English euphemisms like golly or gosh for God. Bleu, meaning “blue” in French, rhymes with Dieu, making it a handy way to avoid blasphemy.

One of these ways to avoid explicitly swearing was sacrebleu, typically written in French as one word and without an accent, sacrebleu is attested to as early as 1552, although it didn’t really catch on until the early 19th century. Sacré in French means “sacred,” so taken together sacrebleu, literally means “Holy blue!” instead of sacré Dieu (“Holy God!”)

I found Dory. I found Nemo too, but that wasn't nearly as fun as the PP lady who gushed over my Dory Bounding. And because it's Disney and I have no shame, I really hammed up and went extra for a few minutes

Both were delicious and both were strong. I wasn't buzzed enough to feel the urge to buy $400 sweatshirts, but they were strong enough to make me want to be lazy in the shade for a while. Not always a bad thing in my humble opinion.

Ice cream cocktails......one from France? Where was the other one from? Feeling this is a must try for July!

KIMONOS!!! I asked these incredibly beautiful and graceful ladies if I could take their photo for Letter 'K'. Maybe it's just me, but I always feel like the CMs in the Japan Pavilion aren't quite as proficient with English as in many of the other Pavilions. So I think the excitement and explanation of my quest was lost on them a bit. Nevertheless, they did make for a lovely photo and I was thrilled!
