The Abbey at West Haven?

Has anyone had any experience with this place? I'm renting a home located here. I know it's in Davenport and that it's supposed to be a gated community. Anyone have anything to add??

Hi, We have a home in Westhaven, but in The Hamlet. We think the location is the BEST! You will be right off I-4 (exit 58) in the very nice Champions Gate area. It is close to the Omni Resort (and therefore the Greg Norman golf course and school). There is a new Publix (supermarket), restaurants, (McD's, Pizza and a wonderful, family owned French Restaurant "The Crepe") etc. on your way to and from Disney. Westhaven is a one entrance/exit neighborhood with 8 or so gated communities within. All of the homes in Westhaven are free standing homes, (no apts or condos) and all very nice. I'm glad to hear that it's a nice area. I was a little nervous because I was unfamiliar with the area. I know it's not in the Kissimmee area being a little further out, but the house looks lovely and the price was awesome so I thought I'd take a chance. I figured someone on the Disboards could give me an inside scoop!
So when going to and from WDW I-4 would be my best choice correct? Any shortcuts or other things I should know about? We've been to the Publix in Kissimmee so I am familar with that store. Very nice! I thought I read it was gated...does that work using a special key or is there a guard there?
