The 3rd time's the charm! Our 10th anniversary March 2013 TR! **UPDATE 5/12! Done!!*

We went to the Sword in the Stone area and I talked to the Photopass photographer while we waited for our turn. DH took DD and DS up to the sword and they were able to pull it up!! DD was so excited and DH was really surprised. He said later he didn’t even know it could pull up! I didn’t even have my camera out at first so thank goodness for the photopass photographer!!! DD actually put it down and pulled it up again so I did get pictures of that. This is definitely my favorite memory of the trip. She told me afterward it was awesome when she pulled it up and she can’t believe she was able to do that.

Then we went on the carousel again.

Then we went to eat dinner. We didn’t want anything big because we had the dessert party coming up.

DD wanted to ride the Ariel ride so we went back over to the old Fantasyland area and got FPs.
DSCF8035.jpg

DD wanted to ride the teacups again so DH took her on that. I took more pictures of the castle, then waited for them.

DS was being cute opening and closing his coat saying “ta-da!” It was super cute.
DSCF8047.jpg

Then we went back over to Storybook Circus so DD could ride Barnstormer and Dumbo if we had time.
DSCF8049.jpg

We actually didn’t have time for Dumbo or to meet Donald and Goofy in Pete’s Silly Sideshow the whole trip! Next time for sure. I noticed the castle had started changing colors and took more pictures of it.
DSCF8058.jpg

DD wanted to meet Ariel again and DH didn’t feel like holding DS so DD and I went to go meet Ariel by ourselves. Of course we get in line and then DD says she wanted to ride the ride and then meet Ariel. So we left the line and got DH and DS and rode the ride first.

I videotaped the ride this time. It’s such a cute little ride.

We went back to meet Ariel and I’m pretty sure it was the same Ariel from the other day (I mean, of course it is, but you know…). She is really good! The other day I mentioned I liked her barrette and she said she used her dingelhopper to put it in and Eric keeps saying those are better for eating. This time I asked if the handler could take a picture of me and DD with Ariel and Ariel said something about how the handler was so good with the human stuff. Cute! Oh, and this time Ariel was asking DD why she was wearing goggles and DD said they were glasses so she could see. Ariel said goggles help you see under water, they must be land goggles!! Oh, I think it’s funny that the cast member at the entrance just keeps repeating to people entering the line things like “this is not a ride, it’s just a meet and greet.” I guess people have been confused about where the new ride is.

Gaston’s castle changes colors, too, so I had to take more pictures of that.

Then we made our way over to the dessert party check in area.

Where we were headed:

Details from the dessert party are in my dining review.

After the fireworks ended we stopped for a bathroom break and headed out of the park. MK was open until like 1 am or maybe 3 with EMH, I can’t remember.

DD fell asleep in the stand part of our sit-and-stand stroller and actually fell out of it onto the concrete! I felt so bad. We had been buckling her in when she wants to rest so she doesn’t fall out, but neither of us thought about that. She was fine, not hurt at all. She was just scared to be woken up by falling.

This was our last day and we were just going to pack and do some last minute shopping at Downtown Disney. Our Magical Express pickup was for 2:10, flight was 5:15. I called the night before and requested late checkout for 1 pm so we had time to pack our DTD purchases. They said the baggage desk closed at 1 so we should drop off our luggage and check in for the airport no later than 12:30.

We woke up around 7:30 and started getting ready. DH took the kids for breakfast while I finished packing. He got a bounty platter to share with the kids and a fuze peach mango drink. He forgot to take a picture. I met them in the dining area right as they were cleaning up their table. I had to run back up to our room because we forgot the bag with diapers and wipes we were going to bring with us.

We went to the boat dock at about 9:30 and realized the boats didn’t start running until 10. So we walked over to the bus stop, stopping by the playground area to let DD play for a few minutes.

We waited at the bus stop for about 22 minutes when we gave up and walked back to the boat dock. Right as we were walking up, at 9:58 according to my cell phone, a boat was pulling away! I was getting really frustrated. We only had to wait about 6 minutes for another bus and finally made it to DTD. It was a very pretty boat ride, but I was too anxious about getting to DTD to fully appreciate it.

Our plan was to head back to the bus area by 11:45 or so to get the luggage checked. We knew we wouldn’t have time for the balloon ride we wanted to do. I spent $20 on a groupon for it that we’ll never get to use.

The first thing we did was go to World of Disney to get a few souvenirs.
DSCF8414.jpg

I saw their makeup display for the limited time magic, but didn’t buy anything. (I think it was just limited, not sure it may be permanent for all I know.)

Then we went to the Lego store to get a container of individual pieces. The cashier helped DD make a cute little heart shape out of legos and then she let DD keep it. DD was excited. DD wasn’t done making it yet, so DH stayed with her and DS.

While DH and the kids finished up at the Lego store, I went over to Once Upon a Toy to get individual potato head pieces (I took a picture after we got home). They met up with me there.

I ran to Earl of Sandwich to pick up lunch to bring back to the hotel to eat.

Then we took the boat back to our hotel. I took the kids to the DME desk to check in to the airport and DH went to get our luggage. He brought it to the lobby and we stuffed in the rest of our souvenirs and then sent our luggage off.

We went out to the food court outside seating area to eat and it was really good!

It was about 12:45 by then, so DH went back up to our room to get our carryon luggage. Since we did the late checkout we had to be out by 1.

We took the kids over to the playground area so DD could play.

DSCF8468.jpg

Then it was time to head to the bus stop. We only waited a few minutes. Our bus time was scheduled for 2:10, but I think we got on a bus at 1:50.
DSCF8469.jpg

Our flight left at 5:15 and landed in St Louis at 6:45 (with a 1 hour time zone change). I did not feel well on the flight. I had let DD have the window seat and I was super nauseous. Finally I made her switch me seats and I got three glasses of ice to munch on. I felt better chewing the ice and looking out the window. I felt bad for DH basically getting stuck with the kids, but I was seriously feeling gross. He was great dealing with them. I ended up going to a Walgreens clinic after the trip and it turned out I have fluid in my ears, I am assuming that contributed to my motion sickness on the plane.

What a nice day at Epcot :) I love all of the topiaries, they do such a good job with them. The Visa meet and greet is also awesome! I love how you didn't have to wait and you had such a wonderful interaction.

Yeah, thd meet and greet for Disney Visa cardholers was a first time for us and it was really fun. Nice little extra perk for having it.

Wow! You have a lot of pictures! I've been reading a long but haven't had time to comment... I really love you family pictures from Epcot. Also, the pictures of the topiaries (sigh) I really need to go during flower and garden!!! All in all a great day in Epcot, the peter pan sighting (I want a shot of it at night!) and Belle in her blue dress (my favorite!) I love your MK fireworks pictures, and enjoyed seeing a lot more pictures of BBB. I was debating it for our next family trip but also think the pirates league would be fun too :)

Look forward to seeing (and reading) more!

Thanks so much! Yeah, my DH says he can't believe all the pictures I took, but it wasn't like I took pictures of 4000 different things. There were points I just kept clicking the camera, like the meet and greets. We would have 50 from one greeting.

DD wants to do the pirate league next time...

Great trip!! I can't believe your daughter pulled the sword that is so awesome!! The Ariel meet and greet sounded great too, it's really great when you get characters who are just so "in character" I have loved seeing all your pictures! It's getting me more excited for our September trip :D
