Day 6, cont...
Here's a picture of the castle on the way out, heading back to Tomorrowland...
Back at Tomorrowland, first we went to see Monsters, Inc Laugh Floor.
It was a good move, because the show was just about to start when we got there! That show is just so cute. The first time we saw it on our last trip, I wasn't looking too forward to it. Wasn't sure how it would be. I ended up loving it! And it was just as cute this time!
Then we headed over to
I was pretty excited for this one, because we had never ridden it before. Since we loved Toy Story Mania so much, I thought maybe this would be similar.
It was an okay ride, but not near as much fun as TSM! It took me half of the ride to figure out I was the red dot! So needless to say, my score wasn't too good!
Lily did a little better...
I didn't get a picture of my mom's score, but she got something like 122,000!!! She was very proud to have beaten us after we whooped her at TSM!
Next we headed over to the Carousel of Progress.
I always love this! Lily thought it was totally boring last time, but this time she really enjoyed it. We were digging the song, and singing along...There's a great big beautiful tomorrow...
That was about all we cared about in Tomorrowland. I don't really care to ride Space Mountain, because it's just so herky-jerky. I would have done it if someone else wanted to, but since I was with the 2 chicklets, I decided to skip it.
On the way out of Tomorrowland, we saw a few minutes of the show at the castle from afar..
Then we headed to Toontown.
By the time we got over there, I was really feeling like major crapola! Luckily, Lily wasn't interested in seeing the fairies or any of the other characters, she just wanted to go through Mickey and Minnie's houses and look around. I wish she would at least ride the Barnstormer, but she won't.
Since I wasn't feeling well, I just sat on a bench outside of Toontown and let the girls go check it out. As I was sitting on the bench, I realized I was starting to get the chills, ie, fever. My throat was sore, and my whole head was feeling stuffed up. NOT good.
When the girls came back, I told them there was no way I could go on, I had to head back to the room. They decided to head out of MK, too, and take the monorail over to the Contemporary. We had a reservation for Chef Mickey's for dinner, and they figured if they got there early they could check out the resort.
I decided we should take the train from Toontown to the entrance of the park. That's the 2nd time that ol' train came in majorly handy on our trip!!! They headed to the monorail, and I went to the AllStar Movies bus. OMG, by the time I got back to the room, I really felt like I was going to die!
