The 3 day buy window after you take the tour?

I have seen a few people complain that their guides told them they had to buy within three days of taking the tour in order to get the $10 credit on SSR points and the special interest rate.

Am I the only person given a sheet called the "Saratoga Savings Credit" which shows the $10 credit and special interest wait compared to if you wait until later to buy into SSR.

At the bottom it says:
"This chart reflect our Special Financing Option for purchases made within 30 days of your sales presentation."

Would this not indicate that they have to give you 30 days from the presination to make up your mind? Especially since they don't give you any other information that says otherwise. Well I wouldn't know what they give you if you don't buy. We decided to buy that day. Kinda felt like we owed it to our guide as we took up 4+ hours of his time. Poor guy missed lunch.

"Special Financing" is the rate offered for Disney financing of the mortgage- not the $10 incentive. They have used the 30-day finance limit for some time- with most all other incentives offered.

I suspect that if you call beyond the 3 day period and let them know you will buy at that rate- they will still honor the $10 credit- at least until October 31. Reportedly it will change to a $5 credit after that date. It can't hurt to ask, but all of those details are subject to change.

In this case, the price is $89 per point. The $10 incentive is a sales tool they can use however they wish.

It just seems to me it would have to apply as it is all on the same paper and there is nothing that seperates the two terms.

O-Well. It doesn't matter to me. I bought in already, but, was trying to help some of these other people that went and wanted more time to think about it.

Sabrina and I looked at it like this.

We where there. So we bought in and if we changed our minds we had 15 days to do so. But we didn't. After we got back we found this board which made us feel that we made the right decision, but that was 10 days later. So I supose looking back we did the right thing.
