DH said to me this morning, "I don't want to be one of those families that goes to disney once and never goes back." Woo Hoo! :woohoo: We haven't even gone yet and he's already given permission to go back.

And yes, this is the same DH that just 2 weeks ago told me I was talking about Disney too much. Looks like all that talk paid off! :lmao:

YEAH for you....:goodvibes I had the opposite experience. Our first trip to disney as a couple was our honeymoon in 2000.DH hated it so much( late May trip very hot and very crowded).I don't think he realized what a disney trip entailed, and I didn't help by talking it to death and planning out a typed itenerary. He refused to go for years( I went by myself or family).Once dd came along ,I started hinting at a trip again...he refused to discuss it.Finally in Nov 2007, I said I was taking my DD (4 at the time) in Sept 2008.He could come or stay but we were going. He was reluctant but agreed to go.I let him make some choiceslike where we were staying,(BCV,) and where we ate..he is a foodie of sorts.I didn't hardly discuss it (I got my fix here on the dis).As a result, we had the BEST time.So much so he wants to go back and is interested in DVC.we hardly had a plan other than meals and which parks per day.

Whew! When I read the title of your post I thought I was gonna have to come up with my opinion of the 18 best words in the English language::scared: :lmao:

Congratulations! My DH was sort of the same way. We took our kids last year and we are currently saving for another trip- hopefully in 2010. He felt so bad he couldn't afford to take us back this year that I felt bad for him. I am so glad that he is becoming a Disney fan too. I can picture us there in our retirement years with our grand kids!

Similar story here except for our honeymoon I didn't do any research or pre-planning (1997) and we went right after the 4th of July. Then I convinced dh to try it again when dds were 4 and 6. Now we are going for our third trip in 3 years at the end of April.
