That's the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up; A Feb. '21 birthday TR with a little "extra" thrown in *LINK TO NEW TR! 10/9!*

Well that would be nice! We're eating at CG and Terralina for dinner and Raglan for lunch; what are your dates? Are you planning do be in DS at all?

Right NOW we plan to arrive early Sunday 4/25 and depart Tuesday 4/27 in the afternoon. Have to split our stay between Boardwalk (Sun) and Bay Lake Tower (Mon) and were planning on eating and drinking around the monorail loop Monday night. DH would LOVE to eat at Raglan Road again...I'm not a fan but would go I guess. We only plan to visit the "other" parks but do some Disney eating and drinking in Resorts and/or we could do Disney Springs as well. I wouldn't mind a return to Jock Lindsay's for a drink. We are eating at Morimoto Asia on Sunday night as of now so I expect if we hang at Disney Springs at all it will be Sunday later afternoon/evening.

Thanks! I plan on doing so!
Yay!
Bonus points to me! Not saying the show though to not give it away.
LOL! Well one other person @missjackiemcg knows but it seems to be a big question mark for many! I remember watching it on Saturday mornings.............
Not a bad lineup. :)
Nope, we eats good!
String bag, because..... ?
Well, because teen boys like string bags?
Honestly not so sure lol, they all use those for school and the gym. For some reason he thinks the Uniqlo one is cool.
Good morning! I follow all your trip reports and love reading them, but am the worst at posting.
Yay and :welcome: I know some nights I just read and don't really feel like commenting and I appreciate you saying hello :-)
aw you have an ADR for Terralina - have you been before and would you recommend? My two younger boys (who are both very close in age to yours!) and I are squeezing in a trip in May and looking for a place outside the parks to have dinner our first night. Terralina is available, but I haven't heard much about them.
Yeah you don't hear much! I kept wanting to try it but we do usually go with Il Mulino for Italian; then I read a review I think by @Steppesister? and decided I wanted to go! We went for Steve's birthday last year and really enjoyed it! We sat outside, server was fantastic. Food was so good! We both had pasta dishes and Steve's had some seafood but we saw a few tables chowing down on sandwiches and they looked to thoroughly be enjoying them lol. I would say try it!
Sounds fabulous! I am adding another trip to my roster of "please can I finally get to Disney" and am booking for March 12-19th. I am booking at BRV for the 14th-19th with my DVC points and am thinking of trying out either CBR or CSR for 2 the 12th -14th. I mean by next March, I should be able to travel, right???
You HAVE to be able to! But let's still be positive for August!
Ooh, I know, I know!! My Dad loves that show and still shows videos of it to Jimmy on YouTube.
It was still on TV in reruns when I was little!

Getting so close. Looks like we'll just miss you since we come in on May 1st.
Ugh I always "just miss" people. Where are you staying this time?
do! Use to watch this when I was a kid getting ready for school.
Me too!
Yes, I doo.
:)🚽
Nicely done. ;)
:thanks:
I actually kind of like that. Very personalized and I honestly don't think it's done in a "get out of here!" spirit. Classy!
I do think you're right! We had told the servers we come often and how much we love it and I mean, the collective bill wasn't small lol. All of that probably factored in.
I know the name of the cartoon characters and I think it is also the name of the show.
You are right! And I hope you're enjoying your trip!
Just joining in, and all caught up. But I wanted to say that I will never be mad at more food pictures! That’s one of my favorite things about the DIS! So keep them coming!
Ooh hello, glad to have you here! If feel bad sometimes when I put tons of food pics in TR's as opposed to dining reports but I do enjoy sharing those as well, especially if they're from our favorite restaurants. I hope you enjoy the rest of the report!

OK well We have CG at 7:45 on Sunday so other than possibly Geyser Point later that's the only place we'll be! Monday night Terralina at 7:15; but if you do your monorail crawl before that we could meet you somewhere before dinner or after we eat if you aren't done!

Ah...figured your DS day is not the same as mine! We would LOVE to return to Geyser Point though. Who knows maybe I can see if I can move my Boardwalk room Sunday night to WL? I've waitlisted BLT but not holding out hope that I'll get it for Sunday night.

I'm still upset Steve Shrimp isn't called its proper name on the official flower and garden menus but at its namesake will soon be reunited with it.

Def want to hear how Raglan goes for you. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love the food but our waits to get in there have always been horrific.

I can't remember if I gave you my # last time we met up but I'll message you before we go. You know our plans change all the time too so who knows! But that would be great if you ended up somewhere in the Lodge!
We're staying at CBR which is new for us. DH wanted to stay on the Skyliner route.
Ah nice! I stayed there for work at the end of 2019, I think it's such a pretty resort. I need to stay at the Riviera since that's 1 of 2 resorts I haven't stayed at yet and we also haven't stayed on the skyliner route yet!
OMG!!! I feel like you were just there. So jealous!
LOL well it's been about 2 months :P And then we'll be back in June but since we're going to Punta Cana in July and August is looking a bit busy, I think we'll have a (for us) long non Disney stretch from June till late Sept when we go for the 50th!
They all sound good! Raglan Road has never been on our radar to try for some reason.
Yeah I'm only a tad excited to go here because I've never loved it in the past. But gift certificate plus only booking last week plus wanting something different and running out of options for now until more restaurants open up......we'll see how it goes!

Oh believe me if he thought writing a letter to anyone would get the name officially changed he'd do it!

Oh great 😖 I honestly can't remember if we had wait issues, I don't remember anything like bad service just not loving the food. And I had feeling like I've wasted stomach space on sub par food lol!

But was the Diddle dee dee music worth it??? :charac2:

Laughing at the idea of wasted stomach space:rotfl: Just practise your 7s & 3s so you can join in with the dancing while waiting (hopefully not for too long) on your table :dancer:or do like we usually do and end up at The Hole in the Wall Bar (not sure now if that's the official name or just what we call it :confused3) having a drink or 2 and then debate how much you really need the food or do you just stay put :drinking1:rotfl:

I did have your number at some point...but have a new phone so not sure if it transferred. I don't see you in there...so yes definitely PM me so I have it again. And FYI we are now flying out Saturday night now...but staying closer to Universal that night. It's not likely we'll be able to snag another night at BLT or WL but I'll keep checking.

Eleven days to go until we're back in the World!

Yay! We just got back and it was so amazing. I could totally go back in 11 days! ::yes::

Once back at the resort we grabbed treats and went to the room. Pretty view from the bridge between the CR and BLT:

That was our first full day and our 6th time being in the World for Thanksgiving; it won't be our last.

I would really love to go for Thanksgiving some year. But with having to work every other year, plus having to host my family when I'm not working, I don't see it happening for a while.

Haha I take filling up very seriously on Disney trips! Too much good food to waste space on something "eh"!

So happy you had fun, I was hoping you had a better time than in October! Are you going to do a TR?

Thought I'd do a quick update before we leave for Disney on Saturday! I just realized that even though we'll be on the CC side, WL is reopening while we're there :sunny: So exciting!!!!

Speaking of exciting let me step back from Disney for a second. I haven't said anything about this hear or on FB because my DIL wasn't ready (and she still hasn't posted on any social media) but, our granddaughter is going to be a big sister!!!!! We are THRILLED!! Now we'll have TWO little loves living just 3 minutes away. If we're friends on FB you know we get to see Hayden often and she's just so precious to me, I'll also most likely have her while they're in the hospital for the delivery since I'm the BEST grandma out of the 3 of us :snooty: We found out in January that our DIL was expecting and then on Tuesday we found out it's another girl 💝💜💞 My video of the reveal is trash but here's the 3 of them after:

We sent the video to Ricky who is over the moon knowing he'll have another niece in September!

I've also started packing for Saturday which is earlier than usual for me lol. Bought a few new things this round:

Picked this up in Feb and it's coming this time:

Because I'm a rock star and every rock star need a jean jacket - with Minnie Mouse all over it ::MinnieMo I also bought two more dresses like the Mickey ears one I wore in Feb. but I'll save those as a surprise.

Back to a little bit of February trip reporting! After our Il Mulino dinner the night before, we started what was supposed to be our last day in Disney. We weren't sure we'd see the @pepperandchips couple anymore but we did have one more pretty exciting dinner with the J's that night! Our day started though at Hollywood Studios. Where did we head first?
Well, there's really only ONE reason to head to Hollywood Studios these days right?

569899

Yup we bypassed the Rose Garden, Band Pavillion, Arboretum AND ROTR for TOT!!! Rode twice which is a tad tricky these days with the line usually snaking all the way into the former Fantasmic! queue.

After that it was about 10- and lines were crazy. We did do something "new" to us and I swear it's just the most adorable thing!

569900

I mean look at these seats!

569901

If you haven't done this I highly recommend it; so adorable. We'd grabbed some quick Starbucks breakfast before hand and emerged to a cavalcade after a rainshower we missed:

569903

And then.....we left! And....we did have a BG! We'd gotten #64 or something like that but still had about 90 minutes at least before it was called. Because this was our last park day we wanted to get back to Epcot before our dinner so that's what we did. Glad too because we caught up not only with Melinda but caught the FARTS performances of both Mariachi Cobri (or Marimbas de las Americas) and VOL:

569904

We needed to go back and freshen WAY up for dinner as it was off property and we were sweaty so we didn't have much time there, but it was a good last (park) day. I say last park day because we were supposed to leave the next day but thanks to a huge snowstorm rolling in, we actually got word while watching VOL that our flight was cancelled :rolleyes1 So once back in the room we did a quick 1 night reservation, let my mom and Chris know, and headed out to our dinner! I'll leave the where for next time but here's a hint:

569905

You may have to wait until we're back next week; if you are friends with me on FB I'll be sure to post lots of pictures!

So excited that you are going to have another wee granddaughter to dote on. My daughter is expecting baby number 2 this summer also and we are all so excited. Mind you I get my second jab tomorrow so in about 10days I’ll be getting to finally hug grandchild number 1 again instead of just garden visits and I can’t flippin wait for that! Hopefully by the time the new babies arrive life will be a lot more normal for everyone.
I was thinking of you yesterday as I was helping a work colleague of my husband plan their first trip to WDW for 2022. It made me excited for them and also wistful that we might make it there too.
Have a fab trip Can’t wait to hear all :goodvibes

Are you going to do a TR?

I haven't decided…I've been terrible about even trying to read trip reports lately, and the beginning of this trip was a bit rough, but we'll see.

We found out in January that our DIL was expecting and then on Tuesday we found out it's another girl 💝💜💞

Awesome! Congratulations!

Have an amazing trip! The weather was so amazing down there and it was freaking snowing here yesterday!
