That sounds like a plan to me!!!!!
I know what you mean about Wishes. this year we saw it form the castle and form the top of the Contemporary at the California Grill and there is a big difference.
Good luck for the move..

Thank you!
So, the packers came today. They started with my kitchen, had really hoped they would leave it for last so I could still cook. Not that I want to cook, but we still have a lot of food that I need to do something with. All that is left is for them to finish our office, our bedroom, and the garage. That's it.
The dogs weren't too happy being caged. Oh, don't think I have mentioned this. My dog, Mozart, hates moving. It really freaks him out. On our last move, he cried so much his eye swelled shut. Now, it looks like our 2 year old Boxer, Bubblegum, is starting to freak out. We are going to ask the vet for tranquilizers. Oh, mentioning the dogs. Found a kennel and when I finally mapped out their location, turns out they right around the corner from the new house.
So far, everything is looking good and still going as scheduled.
Since I still have a computer and nothing is really on TV, thought I would go ahead with Day 4, Monday June 16th (I've decided to put dates, because when I read other TR I always think, "was this a day we were there?").
So, this was Chef Mickey day. JS had requested a breakfast and I thought this would be the best one. The only time I could get a ressie was 10:35am. Oh well, we will sleep in one day. So we got up and headed over to the bus stop. Jacob starts having a melt down. Bad enough that he ends up over at Fultons General Store at the hotel, while we are at the bus stop. Everytime I say we have to get to a restaurant, he starts complaining about reservations and why do we have to eat, etc... Not going well at all. So we get to MK and then walk over to the Contemporary. I tried to take some pictures, but realized I still had the camera set to "firework" mode, so they didn't come out. I was really having issues with my camera on this trip.
We get to the restaurant and get our picture taken right away and get seated. Now, during this whole 5 minutes, Jacob is acting horrible. Climbing up on the wall, flinging himself down on the bench, just horrible. Jonas and I both take turns trying to deal with him and nothing is working. I send JS and Kara for food and go get Jacob something to eat. Of course, no chicken nuggets. He actually picks out pancakes and gets some cereal. About that time, some of the characters were heading our way:
Oh, and look at the spot that we got:
I don't know how I got these shots with Jacob looking ok. Finally I got me some food. By this time Jacob has his head down and says he doesn't feel good. JS decides to take him back to the hotel. I told him I would, but he said he would. Good Dad makes an appearance. They went to get on the monorail since Jacob didn't want to walk back to MK, and the monorail was brokedown. So, they caught a bus to HS (the next one to arrive) and then back to POR. JS said Jacob fell asleep on both buses and then at the hotel. Poor kid was exhausted due to commando Mom.
While this was going on, Kara and I went to DTD. My original plan for the day. We went into a couple of stores and then hit the Pin Trading Company. I have a new hobby called Pin Collecting. Don't see myself trading too much, but I will buy, buy, buy! Funny thing was, so was Kara. We left the store and Kara said she was done. I thought she meant she needed to go back to the hotel, she said "no, I'm out of money". We gave her $100 the first night and then she had her own money. All she bought was pins. I wonder if there is some sort of Pin Anonymous meeting at WDW?
While we are waiting on the boat back to POR, I realize I am exhausted. It is about 1:30 by this time. So, we all took naps. Jacob was still out. Finally Jacob woke up and JS took him to the arcade. I got on the Disboards and got some ideas on where to find Eeyore for Kara's mom's picture. Woke up Kara and asked her how long she needed to get ready, she said she was ready. Oh, I could let her sleep another 15 minutes then, so back to sleep she went. We have got to work on this girls energy level.
Finally got Kara up and headed to AKL, it was Boma night. I was very excited about this meal. Got to the hotel, had no idea where to go, but finally found our way. Didn't get any good pictures, sorry folks. All the food looked really good, but when we got to eating it, nothing really stood out. The desserts were great, but we all said we liked Biergarten and WCC much better. Well, we tried it at least. Oh, another issue with Boma, no chicken nuggets that night. The waiter said there were some on the buffet, but all they had were wings. How many kids eat wings? Not mine!
So, now it was time for AK EMH. They didn't have evening EMH at AK last time we were at the world, so I was very excited. We wanted to do the Nemo and Lion King shows, but both had already done their last performances. Took time for a couple of pics:
Now, I am trying to remember what all we did. We knew EE was out with it being so late, so we went Kali Roaring Rapids. Jacob's favorite ride. It was walk right on, in fact, the line was so short we noticed the CM was letting people getting off to come back on, but let us pass first. We get on the ride, JS and Kara get wet first thing with the water shooting up. Then, they are going to be the ones with their back going down the big drop. Well, right before the big drop, this occurs:
Do you see what JS is doing? That's right. He is on his phone. Everyone on our raft starts yelling and pointing at JS, "He's on the phone!!!" Converstion that we here at this point is this: "Uh, I'm in the middle of something right now, could I call you back?" He got off the phone and got it back in his pocket just as we dropped. The look on the little girls face tells the story! JS still can not believe he answered that phone. Jacob wants to ride again and since still not much of a line, but enough the CM now made us walk all the way back to the entrance, we rode again. Then we head over to Dinoland. We rode Primevil Whirl, something else we didn't get to do last time. Then headed over to Dinosaur. I couldn't believe it, but Jacob wanted to ride. Last time, this really scared him.
That's us in the very back. Kara had her fingers in her ears for most of the ride, but at this point I had to do it also. Kara's look is priceless though. It looks like she planned it, but she really didn't. Jonas thinks its cool. Now Jacob, wait a minute, where is Jacob? If you look at the bar, you can see little fingers. Yup, he was there, just hidden really well.
We survived Dinosaur and headed over to the Dino Dig. Jacob had wanted to do this last time, but we couldn't figure out where it was. Funny thing was, we were in that playground, just never walked over the bridge.

So, Jacob got to dig and it made him a really happy boy!
Ok, one more pic from this night.

We are huge fans of Ghosthunters and other ghost programs. So, when I look at the viewfinder of this shot, I cracked up:
Orbs, there are orbs. Ok, it is just the water from the misting fans, but I thought it was funny. Looks like something you would see in one of those shows.
So, that was it for Day 4. And that is probably it for me for a couple of days. More packing tomorrow, then movers take the stuff on Friday. Car show and cleaning house on Saturday. Closing on Monday and we are off on Tuesday. I may post a little, you know me, can't stay away!
If I don't get to post again, everyone have a fantastic weekend!
