Don't get me wrong. We just got back and had a great time. We stayed at WL for the first time. It was beautiful. That being said . . . We had a standard view. I had requested an upper floor on the north side. When we checked in, we were on the lobby floor facing Bay Lake (overlooking the beach where they show movies at night). This was our view:

When we checked out, I found out this was an upgrade to courtyard view. huh!

I imagine that would be a nice view if there were no giant tree in the way!

I laugh at this because we had a standard view at WL and were upgraded to pool view. Pool view was actually horrible. It was so loud that I would have rather had standard view.
