that VOLVO commercial and that little girl.

DD14 STILL chats like that. I just go to the happy place in my head.

I thought I was the only one!! Mine actually throws out pertinent facts every once in awhile so I can't always go to my happy place.

I love that commercial because it reminds me of when my babies were little and the only thing that would shut them up was putting the radio on to a song that they would sing to.....oh wait....I still have to do that!! :teeth:

One of the best commercials I've seen in years. Usually any commercial gets on my nerves after seeing it two or three times but this one is great! Actually the one where the dad is teaching is daughter to drive in the parking lot is a great one too.
At the risk of sounding stupid, they're just so real. Who hasn't known a chatterbox or a teen driver, y'know?

My sister called me the first time that was one to say how much it reminded her of my DD when she was that age. I swear that child talked non-stop from Chicago to Pittsburgh one time. It is pretty bad when relatives call you half way across the country dieing of laughter when they see a commercial.

My DD14 could speak sentences by her 1st bday. She would chatter endlessly about everything. She still does it.

I don't get that commercial though.

That's my dsd. When she was younger you would ask her to be quiet for 1 minute. Every 10 seconds she was asking if her minute was up yet.

I think it's just supposed to remind people of their own kids, like it apparently does. :)

And I think it's a cute commercial. :goodvibes

I love that commercial! It reminds me of so many children I know. :)

Every time I see it I realize the universe really does know what it's doing. I would not have made a good parent :sad2: My kudos to those of you who can live with that though :thumbsup2

I think that it has to do with the fact that Volvos are known for safety, so you want to protect your most precious cargo, your children. That's how I see it!

the dad would look in the rear view mirror, smile and press a button that would raise a sound proof shield. ;)

This is nearly exactly what I told my family when I first saw that commercial. . . :rotfl: I don't find her precocious or cute--just annoying!

I think she's adorable and would love to listen to her more over cookies and milk. No doubt, I'd learn an earfull! Her dad, however, looks like Eddie Munster all grown up. :bitelip:

Yup, I have one of those, blonde hair and green eyes and been talking in sentences nonstop since 18 months old! She'll be 8 Jan 1. Cute commercial! :thumbsup2
