That Pirate Stole My Tiara: The Pre-Trip Report

To Croc

or not to Croc

That is the question

Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of a depleated wallet

or to buy...perchance to dream...of unlimited comfort in fine Mickey style...

You should get them, so that if they come out in other colors, I will know if they are comfy! :lmao:

Do it for the LapuLapuettes! :rotfl2:

I agree. A nice pinkish combo would be delightful.

You know, I would prefer a different color combo, and that's my hesitation. I truthfully don't mind these though. I think they would go with almost all of my outfits...or at least, I would make them go!!!:rotfl:

But what if they come out with another color tomorrow...hmmm....:scratchin

Perhaps we should all wait and see...after all, isn't it a tad bit unusual for Croc to only offer one color combo?

That would be ideal! I would even settle for turquoise, lime green, purple, chocolate -- any of those would work well with my summer wardrobe.

Oh mighty croc gods....the lapulapuettes will buy these gladly if you had more color combos. Oh mighty croc gods we bow down to you. :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Disney croc flippies???? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Off to google, I go!!!!

Tink - impressed with all that you've accomplished on your to-do list. Way to go!!! I'll be in the world about a month after you but I may need a postcard...

Okay, the English major has to give this props. PROPS TO TK!

But just in case...
:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

I'll third that motion.

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Yanno, the Croc headquarters are in Niwot, Colorado. Which is maybe 45 minutes from me; 20 minutes from my parents'. If the Lapuettes were to get an offering together, I could probably drop it off. ;)

No burnt offerings, however. I wouldn't want to get arrested for arson. :rotfl:

What about sacrafices?

What about sacrafices?

Hmm, alas, I don't think sacrifices will work, either. The Boulder area is really big on animal rights. We have prairie dogs everywhere; getting into housing developments and all that. When some housing developments wanted to gas 'em out, people protested and insisted that they should be removed and relocated. From what I hear, the prairie dogs were vacuumed--I kid you not--out of their burrows to be moved somewhere else. How being sucked out of your warm home and deposited, I imagine traumatized and disoriented, is a kindness, I do not understand.

 That is just horrific!

I was thinking more along the lines of a shoe sacrafice. :rotfl:

While the flight cost us about $30-$35 more each, we deemed it worth it.
Absolutely worth it! :thumbsup2
He says yes, but that was also while he was in the middle of either watching TV and/or eating, meaning he was only 46% listening.
You get 46%?!?! :cool1: I'm lucky if I get 29% from my DS. I got somewhere in the range of 2% from my ex.

Okay, the English major has to give this props. PROPS TO TK!
Ditto from the Art History major! :thumbsup2

This is seriously sweet of you. If we weren't going at virtually the same time, I would demand a postcard....although you will be there longer.;)

Well, DS might need a postcard from Mickey saying how much he misses him already...

And I'm sure the Cap'n will be missing TK. ;)

Sounds like you've gotten a lot done!

I really didn't even realize HOW MUCH I accomplished until I compared it to the list. Hopefully I can keep the motivation going.

Ok, must be something in the New England air, cuz I picked up the same "bug" at roughly the same time!!!!!

It's not the heat, it's the humidity. LOL

The last few days I have just been like "OMG we're going to Disney World and it's coming SOOOOON!" I have been making notes in my PassPorter, downloading uber-cool worksheets from the PassPorter member site, and the special stuff bought just for the trip is starting to come together in the spare drawer in the den

coughsnifflehackpretripreportsnifflecoughsnortnopressuresneezecough

Excuse me. I need a tissue.

Yay for getting stuff done! Is there anything more satisfying than creating a "done" list?

Freshly baked Tollhouse cookies and a freezing glass of 1% milk.
But that's about it.

Just started reading this trippie and I'm only into mid-April, but I'm hooked! You have a fun style to you and as I read it I can actually "hear" you and I laugh along with your, uh, assuming you are laughing, right?

:wave2:

Welcome and I'm glad to hear you're laughing along "with" me. And yes, I'm laughing, mostly. Because if I couldn't laugh at myself, I'd surely be crying.

And there's no crying in Disney World.

I am envious of your completed tasks. :worship:
I hope to have one of these completed tasks lists soon.

You are Queen Listy. I have much faith in you.

Can't wait to see that binder!!! popcorn::

Might be a couple more days on this. I just so happened to receive the most *perfect* accessories for said binder...and trip journal...from a recently found long, lost relative. There is some addition decorumating to be done.

I....AM....DED!!!!! The limp-flop?

Oh, lord...:rotfl2:

Is that like the opposite of...never mind...;)

Out. Of. My. Head. LOL

Hey, you're a size 8! Werid thing in common #2001.z...hmmmm....I wish I had known that before I mailed that little sumpin to you.

Actually, I'm only an 8 in Crocs and flippies that don't come in half sizes. Otherwise I'm an 8 1/2 or a 9.

That would be the oppostie of Tink heaven, right?

::yes::

Sadly, they are army green and orange -- I am not a big fan of those colors -- if there were other choices, I would already be stalking my email inbox for shipping confirmation...

Yes, yes and yes! We simply NEED more colors!

Fifteen shades of DED.

I'll be in the world about a month after you but I may need a postcard...

I will be happy to send one to you if you'd like. Just PM me your info!

I read this, all the while with a vacuumed-prairie-dog sound effect going on in my head:
::ahem::
mmmmmmmMMMMMMMhissssssssTHWOOMP!

I love me some prairie dogs and was sad when our localish zoo got rid of their exhibit. Perhaps they should FedEx the Boulder dogs to the Roger Williams Zoo in RI, care of Tinkerbellarella!

You get 46%?!?! :cool1: I'm lucky if I get 29% from my DS.

I think it's a variable cycle. Until about 3 you can get an upwards of 78%!!! Then from 3 until they are teens begging for:
a.) money
b.) the car keys or
c.) a later curfew
it hovers in the 20-40% range.
Back down again through the 20's with a slow and steady increase to somewhere in the 50% range through the 30's, 40's and 50's. Of course, situational variations can occur. Hence this:
I got somewhere in the range of 2% from my ex.

I'll have to contact our local PETA chapter. ;)
