I pretty much live out of my suitcase other than things that need to be hung up and I leave my shoes out on the floor, but in an orderly fashion out of the way. I still want the room in order, I just don't put everything away and have the room spotless. Sure you still want to room with me, Brenda?!?

I have the same facial brush you have. Don't you love it?!?
My skin has never been better than when I've used it. I got one for Christmas the year before last and then got one for Mackenzie.

I'm with you, now that they have FP+ I'm not going to know what in the world to do once I'm in the parks! I'm so use to running for a FP that I'll feel lost once I'm in the park. Come to think of it...no I won't!! I'll be able to slow down and take in the beauty of the park and get some breakfast if needed. What a nice concept!! Now I'm really excited about the bands!!

I bet it felt sooo good to drive away from ol' cranky man winter. I love coloring! I have always been a tad ocd, when I was a kid I would only color with sharp crayons, I remember having a crayon sharpener too. One can never be too prepared.

I think I'm more OCD that you are with that. Because a sharpener wasn't good enough for me. I was always like "nope. I need a new crayon".

The family that farts together, stays together I remember when my boyfriend Evan and I reached that "comfortable zone" he started saying he was going to step on a duck. spoiler alert: there is never an actual duck.

chik-fil-a is awesome! I have never lived near one so if I see one while traveling I have to stop.

Arriving at the hotel and walking into the room is the greatest feeling I can never relax, I am type A to the extreme, but the moment I enter the room I feel so relaxed. Of course that is followed by immediately unpacking everything in a very neat and clutter free fashion clutter and unorganization is as awful as onion bagels with blueberry cream cheese

It is great, isn't it! I relax for like two seconds, but I don't allow that for too long, because I just want to get unpacked.

I never have a car on trips but fee the same way when I have to 575,809 miles to the last bus stop

Ok I was behind a bit, but now I'm caught up.
Sounds like you guys had a great start to your trip! I love that you coloured. I've always been more a drawer than a colourer, preferring to draw on the covers of the colouring books and then colour in those. Lol! But I admit that if you put crayons (or markers, pencils, pens, quills, charcoal...) in front of me, I will still doodle! Wow, great gas mileage! I'd hate to think what it would cost me to drive to Disney World. It would take three days and we do not have a very fuel efficient little truck. I could probably book a private jet cheaper. I have to see SSR some time! It looks so pretty, and all the horses everywhere! It's like a resort made for me! Glad you got a room in a good location, I'm totally with you on the refill mugs. Wow, that's a lot of shoes for three people! Hahaha I bring one pair, the pair I wear down. DH does the same! But that's a great way to keep it all organized for sure!

I'm a drawer too, but I find that hard to do in the car. LOL. I doodle all the time. I'm an incessant note taker because otherwise, my distracted mind insists on drawing things.

I definitely bring a lot of shoes and clothes on vacation. I wish I could pack lighter, but I can't.

Ahhhh first park day after a long time travelling, nothing better! Glad you only had one problem with your magic band! And that you got it all sorted out quickly. Starring rolls is absolutely an attraction. Those desserts are making me drool... I fear a weeny bite would just not cut it.

I'm a little worried that I won't know what to do with myself not having to run for FP. (or sending Bryan). In a way I'm really looking forward to it, but I hate that only 3 are available.

Thankfully it was a one time issue and we had no other issues.

I'm actually okay with the three fast passes. I don't feel like I need more. At least, not right now. That might change down the road.

Okay, first off, Dawson is an ugly crier. Second, I was WAITING to see who would get the Clue gif. Best movie ever! I've been quoting that movie ever since it came out! I think I've been watching it since I was five. Mrs. White is the BEST EVER.

I'm glad you didn't have issues with your Magic Band. I had maybe two issues? One of them was when we were trying to get into Epcot. I kept trying over and over again, and the guy was telling me to put my finger down at the same time, but it wouldn't pick up either of them. I did it so many times, and there were a handful of CMs with the tablets standing there. FINALLY the CM told me to go to a guy with a tablet, and it took him literally 10 seconds and he was done. I admit I was kind of irritated that the original CM made me feel stupid for not doing it the right way ("Move your finger around!") and started having conversations with other people as I kept trying when he could have sent me over to the CM just standing there after 3 tries! Instead I stood there blocking the line.

Yeah, the CM kind of tried to make me feel stupid too. And I'm like "that's the right finger!"

You're right though in that having FP+ makes the mornings different in not having to run to get the paper ones. We still went to TSMM anyway to ride it standby. It was nice not having to choose between grabbing FP or jumping right in line. It allowed us to ride our favorites more than once or twice! I just really hope that there's a way to get more than 3 reservations in a day.

I really like not having to run for FP's. It just makes things so nice. I'm not minding the three per day. I think they have to consider the masses using it and not over-reserve.

Your Pop is way too cute about the sugar and running just a block. I'm trying to remember if you explained it before and maybe I just forgot? How come he's "Popadon"? I sometimes refer to my parents as Momsicles and Popsicles on DIS because of Wicked. Anyway, reading this really makes me feel sad that we missed each other. It would've been fun to meet your parents too cuz they're such characters!

He's Popadon based on a statement I made in my Disneyland Trip Report in April. LOL. When my brother and I picked her up at the airport, I said "we grabbed in, grabbed the Popadon, and got out", as a homage to Dinosaur. And it just stuck! Normally, he's just Pop. Or Poppy to the littles.

I'm sad we missed each other too! My parents really are a riot. Overall, we're just not really serious people.

It wasn't that cold to us. Just needed a light sweater at that point. However, it did get colder later in the week. But other people were wearing tons of layers.

Ugh, parking lots at Disney. Why oh why must each lane be two blocks long? Although, I can't really complain, because I had pretty good luck on my last trip. Apparently, every 5 trips the Disney Gods have pity on you and throw a bone your way.

I don't get it either. I normally have pretty bad luck with parking. We did have some good luck later, but not this time around.

Starring Rolls should definitely be considered an attraction. I'd get a Fastpass for it. First in line for the Butterfinger cupcake, please!

Um, yeah it is! I actually almost cursed someone else when there was one cupcake left in the case that I wanted and it was like "YOU BETTER NOT GET MY CUPCAKE!" Thankfully, they didn't, but I was ready for a fight.

I can only imagine the guests in ToT with you's reaction at the random screaming. Already on edge, not knowing what to expect or when, and hearing a scream out of nowhere....I know I would have jumped.

I really wish I could eat second breakfast all of the time. But that's certainly not healthy, and would mean I need to run five miles every day. Not gonna happen!

That red velvet cupcake looks delicious but how on earth did you eat it?

I make a sandwich out of them. So I cut through the bottom part, and then stick it on the top, making a cupcake sandwich. It's the perfect way.

Me too! It's been all over the place with arrival times. This was pretty decent. It wasn't so late that nothing was open. I've been there before and that SUCKED because I was so hungry!

I'm the kind of person that much prefers how I look with makeup than without. I'm pretty anal retentive about it. I wish I wasn't, I just am. I take it down a notch during the summer though, because it's pretty hot outside.

I didn't eat it on that particular day, but that blueberry lemon cupcake was pretty stinking yummy.

I'm glad you're here! I'm getting caught up on your TR today! I know, I have an insane amount of TR's that are constantly bouncing around. I'm trying to be efficient with this one so it's done when I go on my next trip. We'll see if I can hold myself up to that impossibly high standard.

I was reading your first travel day and got to the part where you were watching Gilmore Girls on the way down. It hit me - Holy COW! It must be awesome to go somewhere and NOT be the only driver!!! And then I get to the second travel day, and you’re dang well sleeping and coloring back there! GAH - I need to teach Willow or the dog to drive…..

GAHHHHH!!!! I am so excited you were staying at SSR. I recently decided that buying into DVC is the right thing for us (although it’s going to take me a while ), and I know that SSR is a great deal but don’t know a lot about it compared to the places I know I love. Woot!!!!! I’m loving the pictures, and I’m interested to hear how transportation was and such.

You and I drink exactly the same things via refillable mugs. I haven’t had soda in years - used to be a Diet Coke addict, so coffee, unsweetened iced tea, and I suppose I would spring for a hot chocolate if it was called for. I’m glad someone else makes such pathetic use of the mug.

And I’m in love with the over-the-door “shoe” holder too! We always use it!

I am always so impressed with your Disney-inspired make-up. I have no concept of being able to do something like that.

Ah, a DHS morning - so lovely. *sigh* I’m interested to hear about your experience with FP+. I guess nothing will really give us a true idea of how it will work though until reports start coming in during the super-busy months. Should be interesting!
