That Foo's Boo Is Incredible!!! - Jan 14 TR *THE END 7/19 Pg. 51*

Dare I say that Ariel looks a little stoned?

Interesting about the RFID not applying to basically hot beverages... Hmmm.

Love the horse pillows!! Entering the hotel room for the first time is always the BEST feeling! And ingenious idea about the over the door holder!

Popadon as the new Florida welcome postcard!!! :rotfl2: That is great.

Glad you had a distraction on the way down- coloring- good option. :thumbsup2

The poot story... :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Ready to see what trouble you get in. ;)

Arriving on Disney property - what a great feeling! :cool1:

A new box of crayons is always exciting. :thumbsup2

Jill uses the hanging shoe rack, too, but she puts the girls outfits in it. At home, she puts an outfit for each day along with undies, socks, bows, etc., in a ziplock bag. When she gets to the resort, three ziplock bags go in each compartment. It takes all the hassle out of prep time in the mornings. She gives Brooklynn a bag to get herself ready, gives me one to help Bella with what she needs help with, and then takes one for herself to get Sophie ready. Planning and organizing at home makes for smooth mornings in Disney World. ::yes::

We have stayed at Saratoga Springs only once. Jill loved the omelets there. It was great to be able to walk back and forth to Downtown Disney. :goodvibes

Soon, we were pulling in at the Saratoga Springs Resort. Welcome home indeed! I actually hadn't stayed at this resort since 2004. I can't believe it's been that long.

Not only were we there at the same time, we were at SS Saturday and Sunday too! Did you by any chance see a famous heavy metal rock star who was also staying at SS? We shared a bus coming back from DTD...

Coloring is SO therapeutic! I have a Magic Kingdom coloring book that I bought from the outlet years ago, but I haven't yet used it because I don't have a new box of crayons! I think they should offer coloring stations at offices. When things get too high-strung, everyone takes a break and goes to color!

I love the idea for the toiletries! We don't have many yet since it's just the two of us, and we share a lot of the same things (face wash, toothpaste, etc). However, I will DEFINITELY do that when we have kids. There's no doubt it's a necessity when there are a lot of people sharing the same sink! Howard and I live out of the suitcases for the most part, but it's easy knowing that the mesh pocket in the smaller one has our deodorant and know where the Clorox wipes are and all that. But I can imagine having two or three of those organizers with a family and hanging them up on the coat rack or something even to separate medications and such. Fab idea!

The only thing I can do in the car is knit and crochet :cool1::cool1:
It would be great if I could read but I get carsick so no dice.

I know, it stinks that you can't do anything else. I would be bored out of my gourd otherwise! Or sleeping. There's always sleeping. LOL.

Coloring is such a soothing activity, I'll have to keep that in mind for our summer drive!!

I agree it's impossible to get through Atlanta without a traffic jam! We have driven an alternate route our last two drives - we head towards Montgomery, Alabama, and while there is some driving on smaller roads, it doesn't add a whole lot of time.

I've never tried Chick-fil-a either but it's on my list!

I love sleeping in the car! Did you take a turn driving?

Coloring in the car is so much fun. I mean, you can take your time, because you aren't going anywhere! Hahaha.

We inevitably hit traffic in Georgia. This time it was actually in the Macon area. Atlanta was fine, surprisingly enough.

Definitely try Chick-fil-a. They put one near Hawthorne mall in Vernon Hills!

I didn't drive at all. My Dad loves to drive, so he did all of it. My Mom and I were just along for the ride.

You definitely could say that. LOL.

I know! I got all excited about that, because I don't drink any soda at all.

I love entering a room for the first time. It's the sign that the trip is really beginning. :)

Love the ideas of using the over the door shoe holder for bathroom items and bringing the closet shoe holder along... Duh... Why did I think if that??? :confused3

We should just keep him there permanently to welcome people to Florida. He would totally take that job!

What makes you think I get into trouble?! ;)

I'm here and off to catch up!

Yay! Glad you're here.

It's the best feeling, isn't it? The car makes me more excited, in a different way than flying does. I think because you're on the road for so long, you're just ready to be there!

That's a really clever idea with the girls outfits. I don't bag my outfits, but I have been known to pack them together in packing cubes, so I know exactly what goes together.

I love the walk / boat option for DTD. We were on the opposite side of the resort, so the walk to DTD would have been a bit lengthy. But the boat is a great option.

Not only were we there at the same time, we were at SS Saturday and Sunday too! Did you by any chance see a famous heavy metal rock star who was also staying at SS? We shared a bus coming back from DTD...

I did not see a famous heavy metal rock star staying at SS! I totally missed that one.

I wonder if we saw each other there!

I am totally on board with your idea for coloring at work! Seriously, we're all always so stressed out. I want to order my employees to color! Like, when they get bent out of shape. "Go color NOW!" LOL.

For one person, I have an obscene amount of toiletries. I'm not going to lie, I would bring that door hanger thing if I was by myself. But add two more people it, it's just a little much. I wish I could downsize, but now it's ingrained in me and it's not gonna happen. :rotfl:

Love the ideas of using the over the door shoe holder for bathroom items and bringing the closet shoe holder along... Duh... Why did I think if that??? :confused3

I asked myself that the first time I saw it on a blog! I was like "well that's a great idea. Duh Danielle for not coming up with that!"

I'm here too! :cool1:
Just finished up catching up on your other other other trip report and followed the linky over here.:thumbsup2
I'm a redhead, so the HAIR! Love it....:cheer2:
I'm along for the ride chica.

Aren't you sick of this winter here in Chi-town....big sigh...:sad2:

carry on..:coffee:

KIM:wave2:

Oh my gosh -- I am so behind with reading TRs! Your dad's poot story -- CLASSIC! I was laughing out loud reading that at work and my co-worker now thinks I have some sort of mental problem, so thanks for that. :lmao:

I love the Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit from Chick fil a. When I use to work in the mornings I would get one every Saturday as a treat for the week. I would love to stay where you are but its Pop for us again. But I have seen in my February Facebook group that some people have been getting free upgrades to Saratoga Springs. Hope the pixie dust comes my way pixiedust:

Oh wow that was one heck of a drive but what great value!!

You're very good at colouring, you didn't go over the edges at all :rotfl2:

Well done on getting your SSR request :)

Well all caught up !! I was guessing Foos Boo was FARTING!:rotfl2:So your story of the sleeping fart cracked me up !! I am all caught up !!!

I'm here too! :cool1:

Yay, I'm glad you're here!

:cool1: for redheads! I just love having hair color that is not in the norm. So platinum, red, and black seems to be the thing for me now. I don't think I could have "normal" hair anymore. :rotfl:

I am so tired of this winter in Chicago. And I'm just looking at the forecast thinking, "another 10 to 17 inches again? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" I'm over it. I quit.

Oh my gosh -- I am so behind with reading TRs! Your dad's poot story -- CLASSIC! I was laughing out loud reading that at work and my co-worker now thinks I have some sort of mental problem, so thanks for that. :lmao:

It's okay, I got behind too because of vacation. Are you ever going to write one? I would totally read. :goodvibes

I talk to myself at my desk all the time. Often expletives fly because people are stupid, so everyone thinks I'm crazy too! Laughing to yourself at your desk just means you're happy. :thumbsup2:rotfl:

It's sooooo good, isn't it?! Lucky that you had one near by. However...that would be bad for me. I have to resist that kind of stuff, otherwise the remaining 30 pounds I'm trying to lose will never come off!

If we weren't DVC members, it would be POP for me everytime. I'm fortunate that my parents own and that we use them freely. I want to buy in myself too though. :thumbsup2 I hope the pixie dust comes your way too!!!! pixiedust:

Well done on getting your SSR request :)

It really was. In this case, because the trip was more last minute, it worked out better. I like the flexibility. We fly on better planned trips, but this definitely was a value.

Hahahaha, I know! I still got mad coloring skills!

I was so glad we were in the Springs. It was so convenient. Online check in pays off!

Well all caught up !! I was guessing Foos Boo was FARTING!:rotfl2:So your story of the sleeping fart cracked me up !! I am all caught up !!!

It totally COULD be farting! :rotfl2:

I can't believe I missed this until now!

Looks like your trip down was pretty good, even though it was SOOO COLD up here when you left! I actually thought about it that day, knowing you were leaving via FB.

24 hard boiled eggs? :rotfl2: That's awesome. No wonder it was a colorful night in the hotel room.

I am a color-er myself; I have that exact same coloring book. I love the princess bride one too!

Also, I LOVE Chick Fil A. Gotta have it every chance I get while in Florida.

Such cool horse pillows at SSR; so adorable. Disney horses are always a great addition to the arsenal of characters; too bad you can't have a meet and greet for one of them! I'd like to meet Maximus, or Prince Philip's horse - what's his name again?

Can't wait for more!

Coloring books are awesome! I don't know why everyone thinks they are just for kids. :confused3 I got some in a stocking a few years ago for Christmas and was very excited. :rotfl2:

The room at Saratoga Springs looks nice. Those pillows on the couch are fantastic. I'd have been tempted to pack one away when I left. :rotfl:

Over the door hangers are an amazing invention. And I'm sure with 3 people sharing a room it helped keep everyone's stuff seperated and prevented it from being lost. :thumbsup2

I'm finally here! :cool1:

Haha, OMG I almost just died reading your poot story. Seriously, we have the same sense of humor, it's ridiculous. :rotfl2:

I haven't driven to Disney since I was in high school so I can only imagine how boring it must be as an adult...but coloring books can make it fun! I actually almost bought a princess coloring book the other day but I talked myself out of it. :confused3

Ooh, SSR looks so pretty! I would love to go wander around there someday, it looks nice in all of the pictures I see!

Can't wait to read more!
