Thanksgiving??

What kind of events does disney plan for thanksgiving? We have a reservation for the week of thanksgiving at ssr and was curious if they'll have a dinner?

We were there last Thanksgiving at BCV. I didn't notice any special events, but there were Thanksgiving dinners all over the place. We had decided that we did not want a "Thanksgiving" dinner, we thought that belonged at my Dad's crowded house not in Fl at WDW. We went to the Rose and Crown and they even had a turkey dinner!!!! LOL!

Are the parks really busy that day??

We have eaten at Beirgarden (sp?) in Germany the last 3 years on Thanksgiving. The kids love that place. That is the day we arrive and the parks are busy, but not like Christmas and spring break. The crowds lighten up on Sunday. Have fun and Hopefully you will see the Christmas decorations before you leave. They usually start putting them out right after Thanksgiving.
