We are going over Thanksgiving this year, my kids want me to find a traditional type Thanksgiving meal. Do they have any special dining events if not what would you all suggest for dinner? Thanks!

We went over Thanksgiving break 2010 and we opted for a non-traditional dinner at Teppan Edo. It was terrific. If you are looking for something more Thanksgiving-ish, I'd suggest Liberty Tree Tavern at the MK (book it early! I'll bet this is the #1 most popular restaurant at Thanksgiving) or Artist's Point at the Wilderness Lodge. I also hear that 50's Prime Time at DHS is popular because of the home-cooked, American menu and being served by 'Mom'. I don't know of any special events going on that day other than many restaurants offer a turkey dinner along with or in place of their regular menus. Here's a list of the restaurants that participated and what was offered last year: http://allears.net/menu/men_thks.htm

I am looking at Hoop de Doo Review this year, or maybe California Grill.

Thanks! That was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't even think to look on All Ears though, oops.

Dinner at the Fort looks exactly like what my kids are looking for. Although I wouldn't mind something non tradition so we shall see.

We've done the past 3 thanksgivings at WDW.

We seem to prefer a buffet.... let's the kids have other options (have one that doesn't do "thanksgiving food")... and well, being a buffet, we prefer that than a pre-plated meal on turkey day!

Did Chef Mickey's one year... was very good.
'10 did Crystal Palace - loved it!

'11 just did Cape May - really loved it - though, am a dark meat person and their dark meat was terrible (they had it sitting in a tray with water?)

Want to do Crystal Palace again - but they haven't been listed on the list of restaurants offering a TGiving meal. The year we went, they weren't either, but they definitely DID serve all the Tgiving fixings.
Going next Tgiving... and already trying to narrow down the choices.

Am thinking of Trails End... or Cape May again... or Crystal Palace if they offer it.
