Thanksgiving , Which Park

We went over Thanksgiving years ago, and everyone told us to avoid MK on Thanksgiving Day ! So this year we are going over Thanksgiving again, and was thinking of doing it on Wed. the day before. But it looks like it will be a EMH for PM , if it plays out like they are doing currently, and people are saying to avoid on those days due to hugh crowds. Some say to do the park the day after the EMH, but then that would be Thanksgiving!! So, I am really worried what day to do it. I know Friday and Saturday will be crowded too, so I was thinking of going Wed., hopefully some people are still traveling in? What would you do?

I think I would take the chance and do MK on the wed...i think thanksgiving maybe more crowded than the wed IMO

does anyone know if MK will be quieter on the sunday after thanksgiving, as Im thinking of going then?

We are leaving Sat Evening, so can not do Sunday. You are right , Sunday last time we went, was less crowded, but we could only stay for 1/2 day due to flight leaving. Doing FF miles this time, and they would not leave Sunday, so my choices are Wed, Thurs, Friday, SAt. I am leaning that way too, for Wednesday, since some people are still traveling in, But the EHM worry me, but who knows, they might change things by then since it will be an Holiday time. Also, I think Spectromagic will not be every night, so we will have to see how they post that, and maybe just go back on night for that.

We are actually planning on doing TL in the morning and then heading to MGM in the afternoon for dinner at the 50's Prime Time. We are going to be there 11/22-11/29.

It will be busy no matter which day you go as you probably know. Of your choices, Wed will be a little less busy. If you can, go early on a couple of days and then leave when the masses show up. And they will show up

If the day is EMH in the morning, take advantage of it if you are staying on site.

Thanks for all the great advice. I too think Wed. will be the best, and we are doing the hopper pass so we can leave. I will try to do the main attractions at each park in the morning time anyway. I am thinking of maybe AK in late afternoon though, I hear people leave by then. Who knows during Holiday, that might not be true.
