Thanksgiving week at All Star Movies

We are visiting November 26-December 3rd this trip and are looking forward to this time of year! We have never stayed at any value resort before, so that will be a new experience as well. I have read over and over that the all star resorts are very popular amongst large groups...cheerleaders, high school bands, etc. Is there anything going on this particular time frame, that would bring large groups in to perform? I'm not sure when the Annual Disney Christmas day parade tapes? We have 3 littles in our traveling party and there is some concern about the noise that could be an issue. I fear that it may be too late at this point to switch to a preferred room or even a different resort, if need be. Thanks!

All schools are off at that time and no school competitions during the holidays. But since all schools are off, lots of families. LOL
