Thanksgiving week and the weekend before

We are currently scheduled for Nov 22-27 at the DLH. I know that it is going to be crazy busy for the holiday, but it is the only time we can go do to work schedules.

Is it busy the entire week, or is it slower at the beginning of the week and then get busier closer to the holiday?

How is the weekend before? I just had the opportunity to book the nights of the 20th and 21st (I am on the phone as I type).

So I guess now we are offically going Nov 20-27th. I am purchasing the 5 day park hoppers. What days do y'all recommend going during that week. I do have the BB booked on Thanksgiving day, but we can change that.

Been wondering the same thing myself! We are leaving on Wed. the 18th and will be in the parks Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun and maybe a little on Monday before we head home. I am hoping that things die down a bit after all the Halloween craziness!

I'm hoping that our Thursday should be okay. That Saturday (21st) is an AP blockout day so that could mean Friday and Sunday could be busier. I don't know......it's so hard to guess! I've always heard that the early part of Thanksgiving week can be slow but it picks up the closer you get to Thanksgiving.

We were there in March this year and hit some of the Spring Break rush. It wasn't packed crowded but it was busy enough that we didn't get to do alot of repeat rides and we were there for 5 full days in the parks. When we left, we all felt we didn't get enough of our Disney fill. Sooooo, that leads us up to this trip in Nov. Hoping for smaller crowds but knowing it could very well be busy due to the holidays.

We'll be there with you...my folks are coming in from the great white north for the week and we are headed down Tues/Wed before we feast....hoping its not insane as my dad will be using a wheelchair.

We were at WDW over spring break and survived that and had a great time, I am really on the fence about this trip. We are definately going, but just don't know what to expect. Luckily we have been there before and will be going every year from now one, so if I miss something, it won't kill me.

Sorry, but I wouldn't hope for anything but crazy crowds that whole week. Disneyland is open from 8 am to midnight on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before Thanksgiving. That's about as long as the operating days get, which means they expect maximum crowds.

I believe every weekend this holiday season will be crazy crowded, either with locals if the dates are not AP blackouts or with tourists during the school breaks.

That includes the weekend before Thanksgiving. The 8-midnight schedule at DL runs every day from Nov. 20 to Nov. 29.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. I will just be happy that we are getting to see the holiday decorations for the 1st time and enjoy all of those holiday treats & snacks! And this time we will make better use of FP's. We were operating on our "it's not that crowded" mentality in March and really missed out on repeat rides due to long lines.

I am paying for my parents to go on the Holiday Tour on Saturday 11/21. I think they will really enjoy it!
