Thanksgiving Waitlist Success!!

It really pays to get on the waitlist, as I found out on the drive home from our 4 day Food and Wine trip this last Monday!

I got a call from Linda at MS and she informed me that the waitlist request I made in August for the Wed, Thurs, and Friday of Thanksgiving came through! Now, we will have 5 days in a 1-BR at OKW followed by 8 days in a studio!

This was my first time on the waitlist and I am thrilled at how well it worked out. It will be much nicer to be "home" for the holiday vs. Riverside where we were planning on staying.

So, if you are wondering whether or not to chance the waitlist, I say give it a chance. Magic happens!!

Good for you!! Yes waitlists work. We are are waitlist for a Grand Villa for the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Trying to add the day to a week long stay in a GV. This week is the 30 day cancellation so if we get it we will know this week I think. The wait list has always worked for us except for a GV. Now, we are also waitlisted for Dec. 29, 30 and 31st for a 1 bedroom at OKW. I have hope for all days but NYE as we just started planning last month. Have 7 days, just need three more. We might run into you this Thanksgiving......our GV will have fresh roasted Turkey cooking in the oven.

I can haedly wait to leave work and check my phone messages. If I get a one bedroom at BWV on the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, I'll only have to move for the weekend. I too have been waiting since August, so your message was very encouraging!

We are also waitlisted for a OKW GV 11/28-12/3, and one at BWV and a 2 br and studio at VWL!!! So far nothing, we are inside the 30 day mark, they have me waitlisted until 7 days.
