We are flying out tomorrow morning at 6:45 a.m. From Milwaukee to NYC. I hope we get in before the weather gets crazy. Southwest is letting us rebook or cancel as of now, but I hope we won't have too.
I have flown in and out of Milwaukee with snow on the run way and snow really coming down. It is the crazy winds and low clouds that may ground the flights.

Crazy weather. blah.

Sending good wishes and hopes for safe travel for you.

I was floored when I looked at the Southwest and Jetblue websites today. As of this afternoon Southwest was allowing people to change flights or cancel without penalty out of 13 airports. Jetblue was 17 airports that they were allowing cancellations and changes. I don't know when I've ever seen that many airports expecting to be affected by weather. I am really hoping it isn't as bad as being reported.
We still have a little over a week to go so it won't impact our travel, but I know how many people are traveling this weekend and looking forward to it.

Thanks Pigletto. It is 2am, (insomnia) and our flight is still on. I am looking at the radar and it is all rain yet. Wisconsin had that kind of weather Monday and all morning it rained. At noon I literally watched the temps. drop ten degrees in 5 minutes and the rained turned to snow. It was still wet snow for another 2 hours, but then it got bad. We packed an extra bag with heavy winter coats and our snow boots. We plan on doing lots of walking.
