Thanksgiving Park Hopping to Magic Kingdom? (November 2022)

EEEK! So, I'm DVC and purchase my tickets separately from my resort stay. I made my dining reservations at 60 days out but wasn't able to purchase my tickets until yesterday. I had a Bibbidi Bobbidi reservation at 3:00 and a Be Our Guest reservation at 6:00 on Thanksgiving evening. Magic Kingdom is sold out that day, so I reserved Hollywood Studios. I know that no one knows, but do you think park hopping will reach capacity before we can make our hop to these reservations? We are staying at Bay Lake Tower so location isn't an issue. Thoughts? Is there a place to see a history of when parks reached capacity? Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the reservations would work in your favor. Let's see if anyone else can say for sure.

The only time post COVID reopening that hopping was suspended was for a few hours on October 1st 2021 to the magic kingdom.
From what we can tell operationally, it's basically an open to hopping or not open to hopping switch, versus the phased closures pre-COVID.

Just as an update, park pass reservations became available again so I was able to switch. YAY! I guess we'll never know if park hopping would have worked. HA!
