Thanksgiving or New Year's Eve?

We have been to Disney many times, however, not over Thanksgiving or New Year's Eve. Knowing that this year is different, however, we have a few good deals for both times of the year and knowing that crowd levels will not be at their regular max capacity (although still high), which would you choose?

Option A - 5 nights over Thanksgiving staying at either Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach

OR

Option B - 4 nights over New Year's Eve staying at the Hilton Bonnet Creek (knowing NYE will probably not have fireworks, etc. and are ok with that)

Thank you in advance!

Who knows if they even will be open on NYE? They could close at 7 or 8PM on Dec 31.

How do you plan to get to/from parks on NYE? Which park would you visit? I ask, because in the before time, traffic was a mess most of the day to and from the parks on NYE and xmas too. I don't know how good the bus is from the Hilton. You will have to wait a long time for the CS and CBR bus, but at least you will eventually get to/from the parks. Also, Thanksgiving isn't as busy as NYE. Traffic isn't as bad either.

Option A. There is no way to predict if there will even be any type of NYE celebrations this year. I also would not want to be driving from off-property during what will be a very busy week in WDW.

HBC is a beautiful hotel. It uses its own bus to go to the parks and Disney Springs.

I’d be a bit concerned about transportation on NYE And I’d have a plan for staying at the hotel for the evening.

As long as they are still requiring park reservations, it might not be as crowded as previous years. I already have park reservations for Jan and May 2021.

Thanksgiving is a beautiful time to go!!! You still get all the Christmas decorations and music, as you would at NYE, but with slightly less crowds. And I’d always go with the trip that has more days!! Good luck deciding and enjoy!

LOVE Thanksgiving at Disney as we typically show up on the Friday after and stay the following week. Best time of year for me and can't recommend it enough. Also a big fan of the tower at Coronado if it's available.

That being said (and off topic) will be down there again this year...but at Universal for the first time. Won't be the same, but at least it's something!

Most likely would select option A with Thanksgiving. Nice time of the year with 1 more night...and not really a big fan of NYE activities compared to other options; but will admit we have done both Thanksgiving and NYE.
