Afternoon all.. (well it is for me anyway :teeth:)

We're trying to decide on what to do on Thanksgiving (just the thursday) and were thinking about Universal or IOA, since they class it as a quiet day (according to their demand-influenced express pass calendar).... will it be quiet or is it just wishful thinking??

Ta!

We were at Portofino last Thanksgiving and it actually was kind of quiet Thanksgiving Day. The Wed. before was real slow but Friday it got real busy and by Saturday it was crazy!

I'm thinking the same thing... the express pass calendar pushes the friday and saturday into middle price range, so they're expecting the crowds. Did seem kind of odd that turkey day itself would be quiet, but i suppose everyone either stays at home or goes to Disney! We're there until 12/12 so if it's too busy we can just go back to the villa and chill for the rest of the day and come back the following week to finish off!

Turkey Day isn't too busy. The Fri/Sat/Sun are nbgtjjgvfgm hnr kgjrtw rekbnjfn bgfn bmg busy. :crowded: :crowded: :crowded:

We drove up and went to the parks Thanksgiving Day last year and I really think we might be doing it again this year. The crowd was not bad at all. We didn't have a more than 15 min wait on anything that day and nothing beats eating a Brickyard Bacon Cheeseburger from Nascar instead of turkey!!! IMHO. Plus no clean-up was pretty cool.

I would say do it.
