Thanksgiving - Live and Solo Day 6, November 29th

Who - Me, age 35
When - Wednesday Nov. 24th thru Monday Nov. 29th
Where - Coronado Springs
How - Solo (many Disney vacations under my belt, many solo vacations under my belt, but this is my first solo Disney trip)
Why - My usual traveling partner, my cousin AnnMarie, has the responsibilities of a family and couldn't travel over the holidays.

I decided to sleep in this morning. I was very tired from MVMCP last night and had a horrible night’s sleep. I think the people in the room next to me must have checked in at about 2:30 a.m. They were so loud - I could not get back to sleep. I wound up getting up at about 10:00. I took a shower, called bell services to hold my luggage for me and headed to the bus stop.

At the bus stop, I caught a bus to – you guessed it – MGM. Now these are the crowds I am used to. TOT was pretty much a walk-on. I rode that twice, and RNRC once.

My (fastest) fingers were itching, so I made my way to WWTBAM – PI! I sat through 2 shows – made it as high as number two. Oh well, the HotSeat was not meant to be this time. There is always next year.

I stopped for lunch at Pizza Planet (individual pepperoni pizza, a salad and a diet coke - $9.00) and did One Man’s Dream once again.

It was almost 2:00 at this point, so I only had about an hour. I took one last drop on TOT, got a ChipWich and did some shopping. I made my way back to Coronado Springs, arriving at about 3:15. I spent about 30 minutes (and $20) in the arcade and then went to bell services to pick up my luggage.

As always, my towncar from Tiffany Towncar was on time. My driver (Kevin or Keith) was very friendly and we made our way to the airport. Blah, blah, checked in, blah, blah, got through security, blah, blah, landed safely in JFK.

Random thoughts and observances:

Bell services refused to accept a tip from me when they retrieved my luggage. I tried to force it, but they refused.

Those “make your own crowns” are a scam!! I made two (one for each of my nieces) and they cost over $30 each once they are decorated!!

I hope you all enjoyed my trip reports. I will be putting together a “final thoughts and observances” post later on today.

Thank you for your replies and interest. I enjoyed sharing my trip with all of you (almost as much as I enjoyed my ChipWichs – I mean my “ice cream cookies sandwiches”!)

As always, your comments and questions are appreciated.

I can't believe you didn't go to Prime Time 50's. You must have felt too guilty going without me LOL. Sounds like a nice last day. I'm glad you're home and looking forward to our trip next year.

thanks for posting - sounds like a fun time

sorry - never heard of a chipwhich but I kind of figured out what it was!

I enjoyed all of your reports, it sound like you had a great time. I think I've been secretly living vicariously through you -- I would love to go to DW by myself at some point! thanks for the reports.
