Go all the way back to the start of the store. 1st. item, no sale sign. 2nd. item no sale sign, 3rd. item NOT ON SALE! What the stuffing is going on here...

Well much to the horror of my DH, I had my coupons with me. I took the ad and re-made a list to add up to the $25.00. I had to get certain items (aka Thanksgiving dinner) so if the price of those items were close, we bought them. I added other items to make it to my $25.00.

I seriously saw people waiting to see if I would be putting back the turkey. Was not giving it up.

The only down side is I bought a $3.00 bag of Cheez Waffles. I only get them once a year, and usually wait until Christmas time. They just did not taste the same. I gave them to DS who inhaled the bag!

I remember the last time I tried to buy a small turkey (I mean really - how much can 3 adults & 1 child eat - when one of those adults (me) only eats one, very thin slice?) and all I could think was, "WHAT are they feeding these turkeys??????"

Glad you figured out a way to work around your sales and get your "gimme that turkey and no one gets hurts"..
