Thanksgiving Flights...Help Me Decide

After watching the Thanksgiving weekend prices for months, it seems like the best I am going to do is $286 on ATA (that has fluctuated, but it is back down now). Only problem is, we want to travel on Weds. and come home on Sun., the two major busy days!! This means that our option for the flight coming home is 9 p.m. only. The only other one available is 7 a.m., and that won't work since we're doing a Disney cruise and won't even be off the ship by then. I am torn between waiting a while longer to see if anything opens up and booking Discovery Cove for Sun., then spending the day there and taking the late flight home. What do you all think? We could get to DC pretty early because we take Happy Limo from the port, so we can leave as soon as we disembark. Then we could stay till they close and head directly to the airport.
