Thanksgiving DVC Dinner 2016

Anyone else attend? I have to say I was disappointed. I know I had read negative reviews from years past but I wanted to experience it myself. While I did enjoy the food, it was no where near the $80+ pp price. I had read in years past they gave out DVC scrabble and/or Monopoly games. Even though they raised the prices this year, we didn't get a game. They just gave us a printed picture that we took with Mickey and Minnie. Definitely won't attend again.

Sounds like the new typical trend - keep increasing the price but offer less.

My cousin attended...I think her family included 4 adults and 2 children, 4 and 6. I had asked her how it was and this is what she sent me:

Member event at Fantasia ballroom was cute. Just pictures with Mickey and Minnie, tho they were available for pictures from 3-5 pm. We got a picture included with the price tho could go back for add'l pictures with own camera which was great!! No other characters. A fella playing a keyboard and since it was Camp Thankya, music was so themed. Table decor was cut Fall flowers in a decorated mason jar but since we were monorail resort hopping, we left flowers behind.

Good choice of food with beef, turkey, roasted white potatoes, mashed sweets with marshmallows, corn, green beans, carrots, corn bread stuffing, rolls, salad, tons of desserts, coffee, tea, soda, and wine. All of us enjoyed it...low keyed.
