Thanksgiving Crowds?

Am thinking of coming down the week of Thanksgiving...how are the WDW crowds taht time of year?

They're pretty big. Anytime schools are out crowds at WDW will be large.

I am certainly not an expert or veteran by any means. I have only been to Disney twice, once the first week in May 2006 and Thanksgiving week 2007 and the crowds were not bad. They were actually about the same IMO.

You might want to take a look at some of the crowd level prediction sites that I have read about on this site. I think one is touringplans.com. I'm sure one of the other wonderful DISer's will mention it.

We were there this past Thanksgiving. We landed on Friday. Went to the MK just to walk around and take a look. The crowd was big but not too bad. The crowd seem to be more at the front of the park. We didn't watch the parade the first night, we went to the back of the park and rode a few rides. The following week the crowds were not bad at all, I think the longest line was a 30 min wait. This was our first time during this time of year. DH and I honeymooned during Easter. BAD!!! There were signs saying the park was full and in so many minutes it was closing the gates. We are planning another vacation in 2010 over Thanksgiving. I would do it again.
