Thanksgiving / Black Friday

I've asked this before, so far without success. If anyone has the answer, I figure it's here on the Uni / SW board.

Given all of Central Florida's attractions, what's the best option (read that as least crowded) on Thanksgiving Day? Sea World? A water park if it's warm enough? Something else such as a drive to St Augustine or Tampa's beaches?

On Black Friday, we have to head for the airport at 1 pm. Same question: what's worthwhile that morning?

Background: we have Sea World passes, we'll probably have 1 Disney day left on our non-expiring hoppers, and all kinds of time left on our 14-day Uni tix (thanks Maple Leaf). Staying offsite. By Thanksgiving we'll have visited WDW 3 days, Uni 2 (on site!), and Busch once.

Thanks!

Thanksgiving Day isn't too bad so you could do anything w/o the huge crowds that will arrive on Friday. I don't know if I'd travel though...there will be LOTS of traffic that whole weekend including Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving Day is pretty tame overall at most of the theme parks. If you haven't done Sea World by then, then go there and have fun.

Black Friday is an absolute horror: All the parks are busy, all the shopping areas in the Orlando area are slammed crazy. Your best bet is to either do a commando run (9a-11a) on the park of your choice, or just sleep in and be leisurely, knowing you don't have to fight massive crowds on your way to the airport.

Thanks, that's a big help. We can leave Thanksgiving open, then decide the night before. Probably Sea World but mostly for Manta and Kraken. Great rides; we don't have those at home at Sea World San Diego. Black Friday sounds like a morning to spend by the pool.

We're most looking forward to Harry Potter and Busch Gardens. BG was the highlight of our last visit. Can hardly wait!

I would agree with posts #2 & 3..
I am have been one of the crazies out on the roads there for Black Friday.. doing my Black Friday shopping. :lmao:
