Wondering what the weather is like around Thanksgiving? How crowded are the parks Thanksgiving week? What are the park hours that time of year? When do they start decorating for Christmas and having special events? How are the prices to stay at the WDW resorts? Are there usually any discounts available?::MinnieMo

wow, a lot of questions...you may want to do a search with the word thanksgiving.
1). The weather can be variable...sometimes very warm, sometimes rain.
2). the parks are crowded, but I didn't think they were too bad considering it was a major holiday. I've seen worse in the summer. The only place we saw crying children was at MK... and that I blame the parents, not the children!!!
3). you can check the park hours on the main page or go to Disneyworld.com, they have them all listed... usually MK is opened till 10pm, Epcot (FW until 7) WS until 9pm or 9:30, AK closes early usually 6pm, but a few nights they'll be open until 8pm, MGM usually 8 or 8:30

4). decorating starts at the end of October/beginning of November and is usually done by Thanksgiving week.
5). prices are expensive, usually no discounts unless you're buying a package...sometimes you luck out and can get a code.

We usually go Thanksgiving week. Crowds are low until Thanksgiving or the day before. MK is a nightmare on Thanksgiving day and pretty crowded through that weekend. Most all decorations are up by that week and Osborne Lights opens 11/24 (a definite "don't miss") Weather has always been mild (cool mornings/evenings, warm days) and we usually pack 2/3 summer clothing with a few jeans and a jacket just in case. There's rarely any rain to speak of. One year there was a cold front the day after we arrived and we spent a fortune buying more warm clothes. Now we're sure to have a pair or two of jeans and can do laundry if there's a need. We weren't hampered much by the cold weather and that's only happend once, so I don't fret. I hope you have a wonderful trip! Maybe we'll see you there. I can't believe how close it is. :wave2:
