Thanksgiving and Christmas all rolled into one! November 2012-100 DAYS TO DISNEY 8/9

Hi Marsha! Thanks for coming by. We must have been posting at the same time. So if you did decide to go in November when would you go? And I am so jealous you are going on the DCL Dream. I am dying to go on it but it will have to wait until all our kids are old enough to be in the kids club together.

If we sneak in a trip it'll be the week where LCPS has two days off of school...that way we can stay a long weekend and may only miss one day of school.

yeah, we went on a ship pre-kids and had fun but wanted to wait until our youngest turned 3 so she would be potty-trained, could use the pools and could go in the kids clubs.

I'm not worried about keeping them in the same club b/c they are both outgoing personalities ... but I didn't want to have to pay for childcare when we could just wait a year and get it for free.

I'll definitely have another PTR for the Cruise...just got to get finished with my current one -- of which I leave in 3 days!!!!!:cool1::banana::dance3:

I'm here! Your kids are just beautiful!!!

oh I am such a pinterest addict too. You can find me on there and facebook as Michelle Easler Peters. I'd love to see your pins! ;)

Hi Holly! I'm joining in! Can't wait to hear about all of your plans! :goodvibes Your children are adorable, by the way!

Thanks and thanks!

I hope you are having a great trip! My oldest had a great time on DCL. The kids clubs are fantastic and the one on the Dream looks even better.

No real updates on Disney. We are still trying to decide between DDP and DxDDP.

I am hoping to start my Disney binder this weekend. I need to clean it out from our last trip.

I did buy scrapbooks for the kids autograph books. I am going to give each of them a 3 x 5 sketchbook to get autographs which is what I did for our last trip (but haven't put them together yet). We will then put the picture of the character in with the autograph in a scrapbook style. I will just reuse the sketchbooks we used in June but will have to buy another one since DS1 left his at Pizza Planet and no one ever turned it into Lost and Found which saddens me. I will have to take a picture of one of them to show you. The scrapbooks aren't much but I figure I will let the kids decorate them as they wish.

This PTR is pretty sad right now. Need to change that!

The last month has been a little hectic as 2 of my 3 children are or have been sick. DS2 is going to be the death of me, he cut his head and had to get stitches and then last week he cut his eye so I had to rush him to the pediatricians office then to an opthamalogist since the cut was so close to his pupil. Also he has had 3 ear infections since Christmas as well as an upper respiratory infection and is fighting some sort of virus right now. Then DD has had 2 ear infections in the last month but DS1 has been healthy even though he is probably the one bringing home all the germs from school. Go figure.

Well onto Disney related fun! I did purchase some t-shirts for DD at Old Navy this weekend. I can't seem to link the pictures so I will have to take pictures of them once DD wakes up from her nap. One is a Cinderella shirt and the other is Belle. I bought a pattern for a skirt so I am hoping I can make skirts to match both of the shirts.

Still deciding on DDP versus DxDDP. I am leaning towards the DxDDP but it will all depend on what restaurants we want to eat at.

Well I hope I get some followers soon as I am pretty lonely here!

I am still here....

Sorry about your DS - I hope he is feeling better and he is done with all the injuries.

The shirts sound cute and I can't wait to see the skirts you plan to make. :)

TGIF!!!!!

Hey there! We'll be there the same week! I'm excited about spending the holiday there! My Youngest daughter will be 19 months when we go. :goodvibes

And I understand sick kids! My girls have been sick a lot lately too!

Still here as well! Sorry the kiddos have been so sick- hope everyone is well soon!

yeah for Old Navy shirts- I've seen some of the cute stuff they have lately for Disney!

Can't wait to hear what you decide on dining!

Wow I can't believe I haven't posted in almost 3 months. It has been crazy busy here.

Our 180 day mark is coming up and we are still deciding on where to eat. I ordered my oldest son a Disney book the other day so he could look through it and decide where he wants to eat. So currently our list for possible ADR's is as follows:

Cinderella's Royal Table (DH's request for our daughter)
Coral Reef (DS1's request)
Tusker House (family favorite)
Chef Mickey's (DS1's request)
Cape May Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe (never eaten here)
Akershus character breakfast
Liberty Tree Tavern (never eaten here)
Kona (DH's request)
50's Prime Time Cafe (a favorite)
Mama Melrose (had ADR's here Twice and cancelled both times)
Flame Tree Barbecue (a favorite)
Spirit of Aloha luau (a favorite)
Columbia Harbour House
Via Napoli (never eaten here)

We have decided we will be doing the Deluxe Dining plan for myself, DH and our oldest and we will just share with our youngest two since some meals they are hit or miss on.

There has been a little hitch in our plans though. As the November hours were posted there are no MVMCP's scheduled for the week of Thanksgiving. That is one of the main reasons we were going along with it being a school vacation week for our oldest so he wouldn't be missing any school. The last one they do before Thanksgiving is on the 16th which is the day before we are scheduled to check into BLT. So I think we will now come down a day early for just the party itself and stay at Art of Animation, I hope. I haven't looked into reservations for that night yet or flights either since DH just decided he doesn't want to drive but fly instead.

So I am looking forward to making our ADR's and hoping to get them at decent times. I should be able to get on DIS more now that I am no longer volunteering in my son's classroom since the school year is winding down.

I hope I still have some followers.

Today is the day! 180 days!

So this morning I was up bright and early, really no different than any other day but I was excited to get out of bed this morning. I gathered up my Disney planning notebook and the iPad and headed down to our computer. I think by the time I got set up it was 7:10 and I called WDW Dining only to be put on hold for 55 minutes ! But that is okay since I made reservations for our non-show meals online. I was really only calling to find out more information about the Mickey's Backyard BBQ Thanksgiving Feast. So I was able to get everything I wanted at the times I wanted. So without much further ado here is our list:

Tony's Town Square-dinner
Hollywood & Vine-character breakfast
50's Prime Time-dinner
Coral Reef-dinner
Tusker House-Donald's Safari-breakfast
Spirit of Aloha luau
Chef Mickey's-breakfast
Tutto Italia-dinner
Mickey's Backyard BBQ Thanksgiving Feast-dinner
Cinderella's Royal Table-breakfast
Cape May Cafe-dinner
1900 Park Fare-breakfast

Most of the restaurants we have eaten at before with the exception of Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Cape May Cafe and 1900 Park Fare. I am really excited about Cape May Cafe and Mickey's Backyard BBQ. I am thinking of adding in Le Cellier for lunch one day but I need to see where that will fit into our schedule.

Oh one other update is that we added another night to our reservation so we will be staying in a 1 bedroom Savanna view villa at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani. We added this so we can attend the MVMCP on Friday night.

I am still searching for airfare and hoping I will find something in our price range since we need to buy 4 seats instead of just 3.

So that is my exciting news for today! I hope someone starts reading along because it isn't much fun talking and planning by yourself.

Hi ShanLubey-so glad you decided to join me. It was getting lonely in here. I think 1.5 is a great age. It was so fun when we brought DS2 at that age and I am really looking forward to seeing DD's reaction since she was so tiny last time. I have never tried Cape May so if you end up going let me know what you think. Are you going to do a PTR or TR? If so let me know so I can follow along.

:wave2: Joining in! We will be at WDW in Dec.

Your ADR places look great. We are eating at all of those places too (maybe not the same meals, but we are eating at all of them).

Hi there! Thanks for joining me. I really want to go to Disney for Christmas some time. I am excited about our ADR's. I am debating adding Le Cellier for lunch one day as well.

Going to jump over to your PTR now!

Le Cellier was one of those that we tossed around the idea about. We had an ADR booked for there back in 2008 and cancelled it while we were at WDW.

Always look forward to new PTR readers, so let me know if you stop by :)

Just stopping in quick to say we were away for the Memorial Day weekend but I am planning to post an update tomorrow or Wednesday.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and thank you to all the military for your service. Your sacrifices and courage do not go unnoticed!

I just realized you had a TR and I am so excited to see you are also sewing! Loved what you posted, one of these days that is going to be me! :thumbsup2

I also wanted to say:

I hope you enjoyed a RELAXING Memorial Day weekend!
