29th-30th - AKL

Our ADR's so far are:-

Crystal Palace 17/11/07
Boma - 20/11/07
Liberty Tree Tavern - 22/11/07 - Our 1st Thanksgiving!!!
Le Cellier 23/11/07 Candlelit Processional Package

And a MVMCP somewhere in between!!

I am going on 11/16 with my 4 kids, hubby, parents and 18 yo brother. We are staying at the POP. We stayed there last September and it was nice and this is the last year we will be able to get away with just 2 rooms at a value for the 9 of us. This time we are doing ME, we have always rented cars in the past. And after having the dining plan for free last year we figured out it was a good deal and added it this year. Questions for those who have been lots.

1) is having water and milk delivered by a grocer worth the cost?

2) is MVMCP worth the money for the 16th? It would just be me, my brother, and my 3 3 1/2yo's. (DH gets in later than us and my parents would keep my youngest 18mo at the resort). Or am I crazy to consider going with 2 adults and 3 kids that young?

Thanks,
Michele

I can't answer your questions but wanted to welcome you to the Dis. When will you be checking out of POP? Do you know where you are eating Thanksgiving Dinner?

Sorry I missed saying when we were departing. We are leaving Sunday 11/25. Our dinner reservation on Thanksgiving is actually at LeCellier for lunch. My dad has to fly back on Thanksgiving because he works retail so we wanted to make sure we could all have our lunch together.

Know nothing about #1, but we (me, ds10, dd8) are checking into Pop 11/16, and going to MVMCP that night. I got the tickets in the mail today-they are so cute. We are actually going on the 16th just for the party. I'm off Thanksgiving week, and my boss gave me permission to be "sick" on that Friday!

We will be at POP for our first ever Thanksgiving trip (11/17 - 11/24). I am a little nervous about the crowds, but hey------we'll be at WDW!!!!!

Looks like we will be in good company! We also are arriving on Nov. 16th and leaving on the 24th and staying at Pop. We just received our MVMCP tickets for the 16th and are we are so excited. DD 11 and DD 5 are hoping it lives up to to last years MNSSHP. We also have Candlelight Processional dinner package. Called too late to get Thanksgiving day reservaions at Liberty Tree  We were able to get Crystal Palace reservations. DD 5 thought that was great news as she is a huge Pooh Bear fan.:yay:

It is a better morning! I called yesterday morning and stayed online for 50 minutes to hear my dates were blacked out. Heard others were getting them, so I called yesterday at 4 and again at 8 to hear the systems were down. (about 40 minutes on hold total) I called at 6 am this morning (7am there) and went straight to a cm after the phone spiel! I could have upgraded to CBR or CSR for $3 less than my package at Pop, but switching to Sports saved me $339! I couldn't pass up the refund.

AllStar Sports 11/16-11/22 5 day base ticket Dining Plan
Me, ds10, dd8 $1548.21
Original Price at Pop for same package: 1887.21

With $59 airfare coming home ($119 going), even with MVMCP tickets this is truly a budget Thanksgiving trip!

But I had to drop my pop fridge swap spot. It is open if you want it:

We'll be there for our annual family trip Nov 25th- to 30th at Ft. Wilderness cabins. Got the AP code apllied to my reservation Wed, and saved over $250 !All ADrs made and can't wait to get there again. Also have a quick trip to F&W in Oct. at WL with the code and free dining card. A good week for savings- just more money to give back on goodies at the parks:yay:
