Thanks to everyone who joined us for VMK chat last night

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who stopped by for VMK chat last night! We had a great turnout, and a lively group! I could barely keep up. I finally called it a night at 11:00, and it was still going strong!

I hope that all of you had as much fun at chat last night as I did!

Enjoyed our Dis/VMK chat last night!! SorcMickey, Bubbasfriend, Fly and I stayed up until 2 AM!! Who needs sleep?

Tinkgirl, you should have stuck around!! I jumped off the fence and was rolling around in the grass!!

It was a great chat . And bubbasfriend, pixiebella, sorcmickey, and Fly even stayed late with some of the people who are frequently in DIS chat (me, the Capes, Angiebelle). I think a few VMKers were a little overwhelmed by the speed of last night's discussion, though .

I think even I finally hit my multi-tasking maximum overload point. I had DIS chat, 3 or 4 IM windows, VMK, and my phone all going at the same time for moments last night. By the time I finally went to bed (completely exhausted), my brain just did not want to shut off . I would be a great case study on the effects of cyber communication on the human brain . Will someone please pay me to do that ?

Oh it was such a good time last night! I admit I had problems following the chat in it's big chunks of people talking and the fact I had another couple IMs running and VMK running and I was on call all last night to help move furniture around our house. It was so much more fun, and so much...more "educational" than the usual craziness I saw in other VMK chats. It was awesome, too bad I couldn't stick around during the peak of the chat. I was having my conversations in Spanish with the rooofers, moving furniture and other assorted craziness.

It was a lot of fun chatting last night. It felt great to be free of the binds of the VMK dictionary.

But CapeCAD and I decided today: NO MORE LATE NIGHTS LIKE THAT. lol Well, not on a work night, anyway. lol We only overslept a little, and he made it into work basically on time. I, on the otherhand, am ill today. It must have been that 1:30am bowl of ice cream.

And Bubbasfriend, I really enjoyed the conversation about the benefits of a good education! How did you do today? Make it into school?

I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it I had fully intended on being there, but we had a bad storm come through last night and I lost my cable/cable internet. Now, something is wrong with my modem - arg! So, here I am on dial-up and it's c - r - a - w - l - i - n - g along. I haven't dared even tried to sign on to VMK - what a joke that would be!

Anyway, sorry I missed out on the fun - looks like you guys had a great time. Hope to be there for the next chat

Well, technically, it was only 1am by me...different time zone, but it was still late.

Glad you enjoyed the teacher speak! LOL! I survived today...actually woke up and didn't feel that bad. Thanks for asking!
