I'm a nurse who worked occupational health for years and then my plant closed. I have worked in the hospital on 12-hour shifts for 3 days each week for the past 14 months. I have hated these 12-hour shifts and last winter I found having 4 days off each week boring (call me crazy, but I'm the mother of an only child 17 yo boy who is never home and my husband is always hunting, golfing, etc.) You can only read so many books, etc.
Anyway, I have a NEW job - just found out today that I got it. It is M-F, no weekends and no holidays and with slightly better pay. They even furnish scrubs to wear. It's at an ambulatory surgery center that opened in April and I would never have known this place existed had I not fallen down the steps in the courtyard of the WL and needed a knee arthroscopy. I was a patient at the surgery center and that is how I found this job. So my knee injury has a happy ending. I am soo excited!!!!!!!!!

I think that's what they refer to as - "Every cloud has its silver lining.."

Great news! I'm so happy for you..:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

It was just meant to be:D

Good news, Antonia!!!! Glad to hear about your new found improvement!! :) Good luck.

This is one of those 'something good coming out of something bad' things.
Lucky you!!!:)

That's just amazing! I guess some things are simply meant to be!
