Let me just say it really made the quest tonight so special for me. Nothing but warm and fuzzy feelings in VMK tonight. I really loved standing in the first queue to get in the main room, I adored finding the correct path and having to wait in the lovely twice as long second queue ... just to get booted by you.

Yes, tonight quest ranks right up with the oh so many exciting ones from the past. Keep up the good work.

Im sorry if I am misunderstanding your problem but... Why don't you click the "Q" button to do Phinny's quest? You don't have to go to her room at all.

So why exactly did she boot you cat?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was for something small; I haven't heard much good feedback about Phinny and she has never answers my questions or greetings.

I have heard people say that she told everybody in her Barrel Races game to shut up. Nice to say to a bunch of little kids, isn't it? It really lets all of us VMK players know that we have kind, helpful staff members who we can rely on.

Sounds like you had a very rough night, cat. I've never had a Host be short with me, thankfully. Back in May, I think Hula got kind of miffed with me one time because I didn't go in the prize teleporter, but it was because I just couldn't move (I didn't know back then to click on the teleporter); once I explained that, she told me what to do and has always been nice. Sad to hear you and other people have had problems with Phinny; she's always been very nice to me, and I always liked how fast she typically is in moving lines along.

Did anyone else here from the DIS get booted? I just got home, so her room was off the list before I could even think about finding it. I have no clue why she would do that, but you have my sympathies. My patience is mighty short today over something else, and if I had had that happen to me, I might've thrown in the towel on VMK for awhile.

I also had to wait in the two queues..and really making it through both of them was a miracle for me...lol

She was very nice to everyone who made it in when I was in there. Not sure what happened cat? Maybe she meant to click on someone else who was standing in the way of the out teleporter or something?

I did get out of there pretty quick though, I could tell she wanted us to move along when we let us know (for the second time) that if we made it in that side of the room we could "go through the coffin teleporter". I would have went through the first time but someone was in my way and I couldn't get by.

That is true Donald, I forgot about that; Phinny usually does move the lines along quickly.

But half the time I'm confused about Phin, I don't know if she's being rude or just boots someone by accident; its very hard to tell when she doesn't talk to you.

Fin was miffed because a lot of people couldnt move off the teleporter due to the lay out of the maze. if they stayed stuck for a minute or two she did boot them. It was a cool room but not the easiest to move around in. Other than that she seemed in a good mood . she didnt boot me when i asked her to trade my Ned pin for her Inferno, and she dropped a hint that Snow Magic may be back for Christmas. I am sorry that you had a bad night with her Cat but tonight was the most pleasant i have seen Fin in a while. Of Course it could just be she was in awe of the sight of me dressed in a hero suit and musketeer hat

Cat your not the only one she has booted. Since I have joined VMK I have only been booted from a Host room twice and both times by Phinny. The first time I wrote in to the black hole (contact us). However on friday I had it. It was my b-day weekend and she was not going to get away with it. I used someone else account in my house; a family member; and went straight back in her room. I asked her why she booted me and got her general response "if people do not move when asked I boot them" I told her that #1 my computer gives me a hard time and sometimes I freeze. It happens alot trying to get into Host rooms for some reason. I told her that she could feel free to ask Hula who knows of my problem (being the last one in her room for the night several times) #2 It was my Birthday weekend and I was dissapointed. It clearly stated in my signature as well which she had to have seen when she clicked on me to boot me.
Here's what bugs me though. Right after I had started this talk with Phinny who happens to walk in but Zoo. And when he heard me complain that she boot me on my b-day he wished me a happy b-day. You think Phinny did? Nope. Of course I made it prefectly clear to Zoo that I appricaited him wishing me a happy b-day. As you guessed that comment flew right over Phinny's head, she just went on her normal cold as ice statements that ppl need to move when asked. She never even listened to the fact that I freeze or that i was dissappointed.
Of all the Hosts on VMK Phinny needs to find another area in VMK where she can be more usefull. I don't hate her, but I find it silly to be in total shock when she is in a good mood and does something nice for a player. Most of the other Hosts are always nice, helpfull, and understanding (none of the qualities she seems to have most of the time).
Cat I am sorry for you. I feel your flustration about what she did. I hope the next Host room you get in leaves you feeling better.

if you got in and made it through the first queue and then figured out the maze and got back through the queue to sit with her - you could then go through the coffin teleporter and get a bat bag...it wasn't as bad as it sounds..

I was booted last time quest time, I think because I ended on a pirate maze wall and the second time because I stayed too much in the talk area (normal stuff)

I went into the room yesterday but I could not find the right teleporter so I stopped trying ..

Phinny is still the best to me, even if being boot is not cool but well it is just because we need to be booted (staying too long, or being not where we should, ...)

Oh. i ahve a complaint also This girl asked phinny for a picture. and fin just said" oh no!! no time for pictures. and left the room.

Go figure it was Fin... She does that all the time to me and my sister... My sister waited in line for around an hour and she jut got in and fin booted her because the game time was up... So my sister saw her around and asked her why would you boot people that have been waiting in line to play your game.. She said oh because i had to go and you should have tried to get in faster. its like hello People Can't because of the huge line! ugh she did the same thing to me i think that is very mean in a way and staff should not boot for no reason.. Another time with Fin i tried taking a picture of me and her after i won the game because i have a collection of pictures of staff and me and i already asked her and as soon as i got to her she booted me.. idk i just think that is cruel

Phin just is not like the other hosts and staff members; its like she thinks she's a real celebrity.

She must think people wanting pictures are like the paparazzi out ot get her, when some of them are little kids who look up to the staff. What kind of image is Phinny portraying for herself?... That she doesn't care about player's feelings or problems and she is in no hurry to care either.

Some of what she does and says is just inconsiderate and rude. She works for a family game and being helpful and patient are qualitites that she should have.

Yes, I was trying for the bat bag. I was trying to make my way to the tron teleporter, there were several people blocking my way. I was near the end of the pack. I can see booting someone at the front who just **wouldn't** move. But it was hardly my fault that someone in front was blocking the rest of us.

No, she didn't ask me to move.

I think the room is very cool looking, but it is hard to see the floor so it is hard to move in there. That is the room designer's fault, not the players.

I have tried this room several times when she has had it open in the past and never found the correct path before. Tonight I was really excited to finally have found the correct path and ----bam --- a big fat kick in the backside.

I'm so looking forward to the Halloween maze event if it is anything like this maze---NOT!!!!

I am sorry to hear of the problems some of you are having, however, please refrain from flaming VMK staff. Constructive criticism, of course, is always welcome, but not out and out flaming.
