Hi,
I never planned to do any shirts for our upcoming trip (I'm leaving next Saturday!) but couldn't resist after reading trip reports and threads about t-shirts and mousekeeping envelopes and autograph books. I am not very creative and all you DISigners are so talented that I had to give it a try. So, armed with lots of links and Photoshop, I made my first attempt at t-shirts.
My husband didn't want to wear anything splashed across the chest so I compromised and made Mickey ears to put over the left breast. He was, however, willing to wear a big "Thing 1" on his back.
Here is a picture of the Thing 1 thru Thing 5 for the family. I took the character and put it over the left breast. Thanks Amy for this design.
The "1st Vacation" ones were my very first attempt. I found a Mickey ear blank (sorry, I don't remember which DISigner I found it from) and added the words "Our 1st Magical Vacation 2008". I did pink font for the girls and blue for the boys. I didn't realize the blue would come out so dark, but that's ok.
I saw an article about a trading pin that has the Star Wars imperial symbol with Mickey ears and thought that was a great design. My kids love Star Wars too. I took a blank and found a picture of the imperial symbol on the web. Then I photoshopped it to clean it up a bit.
The Tink one was a blank from EverydayMathChick and I added my own words. I can't remember where I found the Yoda and Mickey one, but thank you for letting us use it.
I still hope to do some pictures to decorate our door but I'm not sure if I'll have enough time.
Thank you again to all you creative DISigners. I love looking at your work. You are very talented and your designs always makes me smile.
