hi all,
Thanks for all the tips on US/IOA! We made our first visit on Thurs 10/28 (1-day, 2-parks).
We did US first and then IOA. Our longest waits were for Twister and Disaster. Everything else was walk-on to 10 minutes at the most. So, as you all mentioned, we did not need the express passes.
Forbidden Journey was the only "real" wait, and we ended up skipping it since some couldn't ride (motion) and the ones that could didn't mind skipping it to save the time. We explored the rest of the Harry Potter land and enjoyed it.
We were able to see all of our "must do" items, plus a few that were "maybes" on the list. We even did some of them more than once and had time for a 60 minute sit down lunch when we got over to IOA.
