Thanks for the advice: My waitlist came through in 3 days.

We decided to do a lat minut trip May 14th -18th and are having issues getting a resort with days together. A small split stay would not bother us but right now we are moving everyday. We will not stay at SSR after a horrendous stay in January bit would like to get in at either BLT, BCV, BWV or VWL. We are currently at BLT on the 14th, BCV 15th & 17th and BWV 16th. We are waitlisted for BCV 16th and BLT 15-18. I can move us to the BLT on the 17th but that wold still leave me with 15-16 missing. What is more likely to come through on a waitlist the 1 day at BCV for the 16th or the 2 days at BLT for the 15-16th? I know this is confusing but I am trying to play the odds. I may just wait until Poly Villas open to see if people move around. I am also stalking the website

I guess it depends on if you like moving. I wouldn't do it, I would save my money and book farther ahead or wait and see what happens to inventory.

What size room, and which view at BLT?

we cannot wait, my sister is taking her boys for their first trip and they are staying offsite and we are joining them . I could not book until I received permission from my sons school for him to miss 1 day of school on Monday the 18th. I hate moving but we really want to join them. Should I keep my one day waitlist for the 16th at BCVand the 3 day waitlist for BLT and see what happens onthe 25th when Poly opens.


the room we are looking for at both resorts is a 1bdr, at BLT we would prefer standard but would take lake view also

Stalk the DVC availability tool. Look multiple times per day and pick up any open nights that become available. I was able to reserve a very last minute Christmas trip at only a couple of weeks out. When I started, there was zero availability anywhere at Disney. I picked up one night at a time, and in the end, could have had 4 consecutive nights at multiple DVC resorts - picking up the days as they opened up.

If you end up with multiple reservations and reservation numbers, just email MS to have them all combined into one continuous reservation when you have all the nights you need.

I'd likely stay off property if I could stay with or near them or at SSR or OKW. Moving twice and being orphaned for those 2 days is worse than any issue one could have at SSR that could be reproducible. I would not go before I'd take the plan you currently have. AKV would be the other alternative or the Poly in a studio, both available. Specific to your list I'd try to change it around so you have less holes. I'd take BLT for the 17th (available in standard and lake view now) and waitlist the other 2 nights individual there. Of the items on your list I think BWV garden/pool view and BLT lake view are likely to be the ones most likely to come through. Of course if you change your WL you might lose your place in line.
