This will be our 2nd trip to Disney...So I am sort of new at this.

I just wanted to thank you all for the advice on getting Cindy Resies. I am still Trying...Today was my second unsuccessful day for Cindy (but I got The Princess Storybook Resies).

Reading today, I got more great advice and hope to be more successful tomorrow. I just did a practice run (and checked for cancellations) and pressing a long 1 - 1 got me in w/ out anymore buttons. I hope this works for me in the am....

The day I REALLY wanted was Oct. 15th (We will be at Disney from the 15th leaving early the 18th) So I have one more chance unless my DH thinks we could fit Breakfast in on Mon. the 18th. What do you all think? Our plane departs at 1:20 pm...That is probably a crazy idea huh?

Well, wish me luck and I would love any advice on other things I shouldn't miss while we are there. Has anyone here done the Princess storybook breakfast? How did it compare??

Thanks in advance, Lisa :wave2:

I can start trying for CRT PSs next weekend!

What was the tip about pressing a long 1? Do you still call 407-WDW-DINE? And do you now get prompts instead of just getting a CM (or being put on hold)?

Thanks!
Debbie

Debbie, I just tried a practice call this afternoon and pressed 1 then 1 again and it just went to a live person. I don't guarantee it will work for you but practice your call beforehand to get the routine down. Oh and Yes, I was calling the PS phone number. I will be trying it again first thing in the am and I will let you know what happened. FYI... I AM NO expert at this at all and am only hoping this will work. Wish me luck and Good luck to you Debbie! :)

Debbie, It worked! I hit 1 - 1 and got a person right away! AND got myself 9 am reservations! I am So thrilled I finally DID IT! I am SOOOOOOO thankful to this board b/c I wouldn't have done it without all your advice!! I just wish I would have read everything earlier and ALL of the threads. ( I used old info my first 2 tries )

But that's okay cuz I GOT EM and I am SOOO excited!!!!!!!!!!!

So, do some practice runs and Good luck! what days are you trying for??

Thanks again to all who help out here!!!

We are reserving in mid-August for November so the 1 and 1 suggestion should help a lot.

As for PSB vs CRT, we actually preferred the food at PSB, and it had some of thye more unusual princesses when we were there. We had Aurora, Jasmine, Mulan and a couple of others who I am sure appear in a picture somewhere. It is perhaps a little less intimate than CRT but depending on what you're planning to do that day, it might be convenient already to be in Epcot after breakfast.

At CRT we had Cindy (of course), Aurora again, Belle (who was great!), Snow White (Mom's fav') and Mary Poppins (My fav'). As I said, the food wasn't as good as PSB, but it was a really intimate character greeting experience.

Our next visit we are preferring CRT only because we are planning to do MK that morning (we'll take whichever we get tho). Otherwise we'd choose PSB since this would be more convenient for us staying at BWV and all; choosing between a 15 min walk vs a 25 min bus ride, we'll take the walk thx.
