Not going to St. Pete in the middle of our OKW and BCV trip. Instead I think I came up with the BEST EVER.....DREAM COME TRUE TRIP FOR US. We have never stayed this long. WE have stayed 8 nights a few times but this one is 13 GLORIOUS nights. I can't wait.......

We arrive OKW on Sunday July 20th for 7 nights. The Friday and Sat. July 25th and 26th are cash ressies. I was shocked I got them for under 400 (before tax) per night. Just shocked. I was ecstatic. Then we are moving to BCV on Sunday July 27th for 6 nights. We did have to use 1 night of weekend points for this portion of our vacation. We are in a 2br at each resort too. I am very happy with our trip now. I just couldn't figure it out with St. Pete in the mix. We have AP's with water parks/disney quest from last Aug. so we will have plenty of time to do a lot and relax along the way too. ;)

:goodvibes Thanks to everyone that replied to all my posts about this trip. I do appreciate all the great advice.

That's a great vacation that you have planned!!!

We've never stayed as long as you are planning, so you're really lucky ducks! I enjoy both OKW and BCV, really I enjoy them all.:goodvibes Was it the dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV that is causing you to use the weekend points?

YOu were the one that explained the two different dedicated rooms.....well my confirmation paper said 2br with queen/sofa but on the DVC web site it said 2 QUEENS. SO when I made these changes today....she checked and it was the 2 queens. YIPPEEE. Anyway...the problem was we could not stay at WDW For more than 10 nights because of the weekends without staying elsewhere. I couldn't get cash ressies at BCV..so that is when I started thinking about splitting with OKW and St. Pete was always a part of the plan until I decide today to just not go. We were going to spend over 1500 for 3 nights there at that resort for a 2 br. Plus we would have had to rent a van for 4 nights, drive and not have as long at WDW. So I made it happen today with staying more week days and doing cash at OKW. :thumbsup2

We did 13 nights last July too in a 2 bedroom at OKW and used our AP rate for cash on the weekend nights. It was amazing! And with the AP's you have such a relaxing, do-what-you-may vacation. Enjoy - be warned though, the first week was great and seemed to just pass at the nice slow pace, but after the weekend - boom! it went so fast. Still great though, and our upcoming 11 nights in May/June better come fast and then go slow while I'm there!

We did 10 nights last year during F&W and LOVED it! Can't wait for an opportunity to do that again. It makes the trip relaxing as you're not rushing through the parks trying to get everything done in a few short days. We also enjoyed "Eating around the world".

Have a great time!

I understand about the second week going by fast. In Jan we started out with a 10 day trip but a few days into our trip decided to extend it by 3 nights. I remember thinking "wow now we have a whole other week here" right after adding the nights on. Next thing I knew we were on our flight home back to the real world.

in the past the longest trip was 10 nights. we wil do 4,4,4, AKV , SSR, VB

You are going to love the 2 week trip! It's funny when I look back at how our trips started to grow in length after DVC :) We always try to do the longer summer trip now and love it!

OKW and BCV have become our favorite summer locations and we split a stay at both last year. The 2 bdrms at OKW are absolutely wonderful for a family with the large balconies and extra space. BCV has Stormalong Bay, which was fun, but we also liked the BCV quiet pool. You can't go wrong with your choices.

Have a great trip!

Thanks we are sooooo excited and even though it will be hot....I don't care. WE loved our summer trip last year it was just too short...8 nights. I told my dh that when we go back the next year..we have to stay longer. IT is just such a nice time staying at DVC. I can't wait to try both of these resorts. :goodvibes
