We are 11 days from leaving.

I finished up the shirts today. I believe that I have created everything I desired to do. We'll see if I'm drawn to another creation later. I wanted to do candy bars, but we're driving.. and won't arrive at Disneyland for about a week into our drive. So, chocolate is out.

Here is what I made:

First.. the travel binder. All of my information is in here. My family mocks the binder.. but.. it's priceless:

Next up are the luggage tags.

Next I have journals. I designed the inside, but used some graphics that the DISigners offered.

I know I used stuff from rumblytumbly and aries1980

Then I made activity book. I designed the cover myself, but I did use a name design that julia & nicks mom did years ago for me. I collected some pages from the thread about activity books, and found some pages on the internet.

Last are the shirts.

My kids don't go for matching shirts. They each went through designs and picked out their favorites. We'll only be IN disneyland for three days. I would love to have shirts for them the day before and after, for character meals, but.. I had to stop somewhere.

DISigners are: rumblytumbly, julia & nicks mom, M_I_C_K_E_Y, and tinkerbell

(he only has two shirts, because when we were buying blank shirts, we found a Cars shirt on clearance that lights up. It's hard to top that.)

Thank you for everyone's hard work and time, going into making the DISigns. I tried very hard to keep track of all of the right people to credit. Please let me know if I messed up!

My kids love their goodies!

Everything turned out nice. :thumbsup2
I like your journals. Where did you get them bound?

I did it myself, I own a binding machine. I laminated the front and back covers for stablity, and did the binding myself.

I believe others are taking them to staples. I've gotten binding done at Kinko's before, for $5.

these are great!! we are leaving in a lil less then 2 months I need to get started printing so I dont get stressed!

Everything looks great! I like the idea of using Kari's design for luggage tags! Another project for my list! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Tinkerbell designed it. (That's the name on the folder I put it in.)

Here it is:

I thought it was a perfect use for that particular design! Very easy to do as well. I just hand printed our info on the back.

You did a great job!

WOW!!! Super job! I never really liked the idea of the activity book and the journal, but WOW!! I think I am going to do them now, that I have seen yours, lol.

GREAT job!

Dana

They all look great - good t-shirt color choices to compliment the designs. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome stuff!

Can I ask where you got the clear luggage tags? I love that idea!

I got them from walmart and target, they were in the same area as post it notes. They are called "self-sealing laminating pouches" Made by Scotch. Here it is form an online retailer:

They cost me about $1.50 for a package of three at Walmart. Then, I found some on clearance at Target, a package of five for about $2.

Absolutely. The video game design was by M_I_C_K_E_Y. I found it on the thread titled Amy's Former Designs

The stitch design was done by julia & nicks mom. She is no longer designing, but you can still see her work here
