I am a WDW vet and I wanted to try something other than my traditional sneakers and socks for our DL trip. Thanks to a post on this Bd. I tried a pair of Croc "slippers" i.e. not the clogs. They are the most comfortabLe shoes I now own.
I was never a CROCs fan, but these are like ballet slippers, only open. My only regret was I went conservative on the color and got white. Should have gone bolder. May have to get another pair after trip.
Bottom line is a DIS thread made me think outside my zone and even suggested getting them from Amazon. (Prime got them to me in 2 days)
I'm used to getting good trip advice from DIS. First time I got great footwear advice. THANKS

Glad you had happy feet! Makes all the difference, doesn't it? I too have praised the dis threads on foot wear. Was a strict crocs lover until I discovered fit flops. Once broken in, they are amazing! I have three pair now and that's all I wear in the summer! My feet thank me and the dis...lol!

Just a side note on wearing crocs or slippers... always remember to put sunblock on your feet. Its a place which gets a lot of sun exposure but you forget about it because when you wear shoes its a non issue.

GREAT reminder!! I'm guilty:guilty: totally burnt the tops of my feet last time because I didn't even think to put sunscreen on my feet! ouch!

I have 3 pair of Crocs flats that are very comfortable and I don't have to worry about getting them wet or spilling on them. I have black, pink and purple.

I bought teva sandals before we left and I was so happy with that purchase. NO hot feet in runners and my feet didn't hurt like they do at work. I am scared of crocs because a friend of mine broke her ankle while wearing hers they are slippery a lot of the time. I 'm interesting in the crocs mentioned though. Happy feet make a happy vacation.

Would love to know which crocs you had? My favorites are the Cleo slides (original). I can wear them all day and not have my feet hurt (and even in my very high end tennis shoes, my feet still hurt after all that walking).

Always love to hear which version of crocs others like for walking through the parks.

I wear the standard Crocs that are very comfy but ugly!! I just make sure that all pictures are taken from the ankles up;)

I have these: http://www.crocs.com/crocs-adrina-flat/11238,default,pd.html?cid=43P&cgid=women-footwear-flats

I also have them in purple. I brought both to DLR along with two pairs of tennis shoes. I have always been a strict "tennis shoes in the parks" person, but these were so comfortable and cute! I walked all over and did some serious park hopping in these shoes! And I'm sorry, I'm never gonna wear those clogs. I see now they have some other styles of cute flats I may try too.

The security lady said, "Cute shoes!". The waitress at Cafe Orleans loved them and wanted a pair. And then the lady at the credit union when we got back asked all kinds of questions about where I got them. DH said, "No one ever comments about my shoes!" :rotfl:

Sometimes, I wore tennis shoes to the parks and brought the Crocs flats and I would change later in the day. Sometimes the other way around. I'm thankful to my husband who carried my extra shoes in the backpack for me! :)

I bought Adriana Flats from Amazon. Happy with white but wish I went for some gusto & got colors

Wanted to chime in on my love for crocs. I have problem feet and my podiatrist loves them too, so I have been wearing them for years. I would say 65% of the shoes in my closet are crocs. You don't have to sacrifice style for comfort.

I'm a WDW veteran (originally from FL) and I was rocking these last time I went:

I have moved to CA and am planning my very first trip to DLR. I plan to rock these this trip:

BTW, these are some of my favorite crocs heels. I get lots of compliments on them and no one ever believes they are crocs. And yes, they are super comfy too.

Those Kadees are really cute! I'd like to get some closed toe Crocs flats for work sometime.
