I actually got really lucky. I even made 2 calls there this morning. :thumbsup2 While one of my friends was panicking about getting through on the regular line , I was sailing right through.. :lmao: OK. I did get really lucky and once I had the trick down I felt good enough to call back again.

Jenn is the BEST and was able to get through this morning and get me a ressie for 5:30pm on Wednesday night! I'm sooo excited and ready to get going now!!! :cool1: I got the text from her MUCH sooner than I anticipated! I had saw on another board that the phones were crazy this morning before I left for work, and then before I pulled into the office I had a text from her! :cheer2:

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So happy you got your BOG ADR!! Good job Jenn!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Cant wait to hear what you think about it. I am living vicariously through you on this one. We didnt try for a BOG ADR this time around.

AAHH...I am seriously so happy for you!

I'm excited!! Honestly, though, if we were going any other time, I would have been happy to do the lunch. But with it being the opening week, I figure it's going to be crazy busy!

Okay, so here's my new issue. I originally had planned our 1900 Park Fare breakfast on Wednesday morning! :confused3 Do you think I should move that so we have more time in the new Fantasyland stuff? Breakfast isn't until 10, which I figured would make a good early lunch for us and keep us full until the Plaza, but now that we're dealing with BOG and Fantasyland stuff, I'm worried about taking any park time away. Of course, I could just switch it to Sunday… but I kinda don't want to do that. :scratchin Of course, the other part of me says by the time we get back from eating and the Monorail back over it will be lunchtime and maybe the crowds would be lower?? :rolleyes2

And has anyone been since they started cracking down on the fastpass usage? How much is this going to effect the FPs we can use? I HATE the idea of having to use them within the hour, just because you get NO say in when you could come back. If you could PICK a time, I think it would be okay, you know?

No replies?? :worried:

Well, I'm not worried! I have a great day planned! My hubby's laptop's power cord has died,:badpc: so we have to go to the Apple Store... which just HAPPENS to be in the same mall that has a Magical Design Disney Store!!! :woohoo: I'm totally bummed! :lmao:

Oh and Cortlyn has been asking for a "Princess Bun!" like Cinderella and I've been doing a makeshift bun... now, I'm wondering if I should let her to BBB... :confused3

I'm not much help on the FLE stuff, but I think I would first find out how the opening is going to go if you can. If you're able to roam around the new area, then I'd skip 1900, but if it ends up that they only allow AP and DVCers in there, I'd keep it.

And which Disney store did you end up going to? Is it close enough for me to go too?:hyper:

I think you're not getting any replies because nobody has a clue how any of it will go. I think we are ditching our own 1900PF breakfast just because we have a sense we will want as much time in the MK as possible if it turns out to be really busy.

I'm a little concerned about the FP thing myself. I'm so spoiled being able to use them later. We'd collect them as we went about a leisurely day, then sort of circle the park later and use them all in geographic order, instead of criss-crossing them in order of time.

LOTS of unknowns for us on this trip too. Which is why we are spending so many of our days in the MK. I'm afraid it's just going to take more time to do things.

What a nice consolation prize! (getting to go to the Disney Store!) But just what is a Magical Design Disney Store?????????? Sounds like something I'd love. But we're lucky just to have a traditional Disney Store I guess. Even that's a long drive across town.

Sorry… :flower3:We went to the one in St. Louis, or I would have called you and told you to come along!

I know what you mean. This trip is REALLY going to be different for a lot of us! I'm not opposed to having to stick with the times on the Fastpass, but I know I have said it before- I want to have a CHOICE in when that time is going to be!

The Magical Design stores have the Magic Mirrors and a "kids area" in the back where they can sit and color or watch movie shorts. It's really cute!

So, in other news from the Disney Store… We noticed the prints they were giving away for Pre-Ordering Cinderella and fell in LOVE. Of course, we aren't close enough to come back and they aren't shipping this promo, so I called my MIL. ;) MIL loves to shop anyway, and has already said she wanted to buy the girls new Princess dresses for our trip. So, I told her about the prints and asked her to preorder. Hopefully she took care of that for us today!

We tried on several dresses to check sizes. There was a couple in the store and the guy- OUT LOUD where I could hear him!- said "What is she DOING?" His wife/girlfriend looked at him and said "She's trying the dress on!" Like he was an idiot, because clearly he was. My girls weren't naked or anything! Anyway, you could hear the woman schooling him on little girls wearing dresses and pointing out ALL the dresses in the store, that I GUESS he had missed as they walked in???? :confused3

Cortlyn LOVED the Cinderella wedding dress, but Corey did NOT like her in the wedding dress. He rarely says anything negative about anything she does, but he doesn't like the idea of her wearing a "wedding dress" for play. I guess I kind of get it, he doesn't want to think about his little girl growing up and getting married, but the dress was just SO adorable! :rolleyes1

Oh and I forgot to take my camera into the Disney Store… so you just have to imagine two of the most ADORABLE girls trying on a few dresses and playing with the Magic Mirror! :cutie:

LOL!

Rule number 1. Never take a man to the Disney Store.

Rule number 2. See rule number 1. :rolleyes1

Adorable story though!

FWIW....... I think the Cinderella wedding gown is quite pretty. I love that pale blue edging.

It is a VERY pretty dress. Now, if we could figure out a way to make Daddy think it wasn't a wedding dress… :rolleyes1 No… like I said, I don't often hear him say "no" about things like that, so I have to go with it on this, you know? I also love the Rapunzel wedding dress as well…

I agree with rules number 1 and 2..

And rule number 3....Never even tell a man when you are buying something for your DD. It just shows up on the trip. ;)

hahahahaahahahaahhaaha!!! :lmao: Now isn't THAT the truth!!!

I made a boo-boo and left this up all day on the laptop and Corey actually ended up seeing it! (He didn't see the update from you Jen! So I'm good to keep hiding things in the closet!) He said "Now, all your friends think I'm a grump!" :rolleyes2 No they don't! They think you are a MAN! :rotfl2:
